Yes, the soundtrack actually looks pretty good. Doubt I'll see the movie, not really my thing. But I might actually end up getting the soundtrack after checking it out on Itunes last night.....Smashing Pumpkins, Linkin Park, Mute Math....pretty cool stuff....
Just got back from seeing it, and I must say it was a blast..... I wasn't expecting it to be that entertaining, but it totally took me back to being a kid.
I loved it. I could of done with out the usual Bay style super fast cuts then a long slo-mo. It's the best movie I've seen all year so far. I mean really who doesn't want to see huge robots beating the crap out of each other for the last 30-45 minutes.
Bublebee will always be a beetle to me. VW 4evar
I am looking foward to seeing Die Hard with my Dad this weekend.

Yup, that was my only gripe about it. I was a HUGE Transformers geek as a kid and LOVED the toys and cartoons. This movie really brought it back. They did their homework for the most part. They had to change all of the vehicles to GMC brand (Which is why Bubmblebee was changed), but other than that it was great.
I guess one other gripe would be the change to the look of Megatron as a robot. They kept him a fighter jet, but changed is robot form....weird!

I loved every second of this movie. I didn't really know anything about Transformers apart from seeing the toys so I had no concept of how it should be, but either way I was thouroughly entertained

Just saw it today. They could've easily cut an hour or so out of the movie. Very slow, very little action (except at the end). Even then, there were too many close-ups of the transformations... I found it too hard to keep track of what was happening. Just my opinion.

I agree. I saw SiCKO and then snuck in to see this. I wound up walking out of it cause I was so tired of waiting for something to happen. You could tell that it was gonna be one of those movies where they save all the good action till the end. I couldn't wait that long. The main character dude really annoyed me. It was like the whole time all he did was "Oh my god. This is crazy. All this crazy sh!t is happening. I'm talking really fast and trying to be funny. Oh my god. What do I do? This is crazy." That to me about sums up his role in the movie. I dunno. I should have stayed to the end, but I really couldn't stand to sit through any more of it. It tried way too hard to be funny all the time, IMHO. I thought Live Free or Die Hard was a better action flick.
I got to see part of this movie while waiting for Harry Poter at midnight Tuesday - I really want to go back and see the whole thing - the parts I saw were hilarious

If they'd taken John Voight out (his character was useless) and given John Turturro more screen time to ham it up, I probably would've liked it better.
Oh... and Megan Fox... in a bikini... giving the Camaro a nice, sudsy hand wash... for like 45 minutes.... yeah, that might've done it for me too .

Yes, excellent film. My son and I were in the front seat at the drive in, leaning into the dashboard, high fiving and "wowing" every five seconds or so. It was sweet! The talky scenes were short enough so that when I was getting sick of them, another cool thing happened.
I loved it when they poked fun at the VW Beetle debacle by having Bumblebee slam his door into the Beetle.
