Transformers - saw it, and meh.... it was worth the $6 matinee price and that's about it Shrek 3 - saw it, loved it. Great soundtrack.
ummm, I guess that's all I can think of. Not a big movie buff. Really, I'm not even all that excited about HP. I'll just go along with friends to see it
I have a 14 year old that was promised I would take her to the midnight screening - so I have no choice but to go - I prolly won't get to sit with her but I'll be there
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
I haven't really seen any trailers that made me say - I HAVE to see that. I'm actually kinda disappointed with the films released this year so far. I'm curious about Trade though, although from what I can tell it is a very limited release. If anyone can get their hands on Lilya 4-ever (Netflix has it) it's a really good although disturbing film about sex trafficking. I'm also looking forward to Ang Lee's Se Jie, as it's supposed to be very Wong Kar Wai-ish and I'm madly in love with WKW's trilogy Days of Being Wild/In the Mood for Love/2046, especially the second.
As you can tell, I'm not a Shrek/Harry Potter kinda girl, although I do like me some Pirates. ;D
My wife and I have decided to start going to a few matinees. We haven't been to a movie since Lord of the Rings.
We just saw "1408" which was good. I'm very skeptical about Stephen King movies (though I love his books) but this was really creepy and had some very unexpected moments. I would recommend it if you like scary stuff.
