my parents are having their 25th wedding anniversary at the end of the month. i'm only 18. so obviously what i can get them as a gift is limited. however, i'm drawing a blank on ideas!
i was wondering if any of you have any clever ideas! i'm not creative. so any help at all would be awesome!! thank you!!!!
I believe the 25th anniversary is traditionally considered the silver anniversary. While some silver is rather expensive, you can usually get a silver picture frame rather inexpensively. Check around at some of the anchor stores at the malls or a Ross or Marshall's. The expensive anchor stores sometimes have a sale on some of their gift items in the housewares department and Marshall's and Ross are discounts of better merchandise.
They would love to have a remembrance of a nice framed picture of you, your family, or any other favorite family picture. Plus, they will tend to keep something like that and remember that nice present forever!

that's exactly what i did for my parents on their 25th
found a couple of their old wedding photos, scanned them in and turned them black and white and put them in a nice silver frame
they LOVED it
p.s. i found mine at restoration hardware on sale for like $15, was a really nice heavy frame too, velvet backing etc. really it's the thought that counts though, they'll love the gesture most of all!

I love the idea of using their wedding photos - so sweet!
i've dug out my fav. wedding photo of theirs. i'm going to have it put into black and white. and then i actually found the invitation to their wedding. so i'm framing both of those. hopefully they'll like it!
