Anyone get a copy of the leak on the internets? I read through the first chapter last night-- pretty exciting to get back into the story! I figure I'll read a few chapters until the actual book is released, to give myself a head start before the media is flooded with spoilers-- it's happened to me with the previous books because I usually borrow it second-hand and also I'm a very slow reader. Anyway I am 100% ANTI-SPOILERS, and want y'all to know that I have no intention whatsover to reveal anything I read. We're all in this together!

noe - in a way that would spoil it for me also - but I see your reasoning - I am not a slow reader - I will start it Saturday morning and prolly finish it sometime in the wee hours of Sunday morning - depending on how many interruptions I have
I'll start reading as soon as i buy my book, until I pass out Friday night. And I will be literally running from the store so that I can miss out on any tards that are yearning to yell out the last chapters.

All i wanted to do was notbe spoiled by the last book. Being an internet junkie like i am, i figured as many places i visit on a daily basis, one would spoil me, and everytime i see or hear anything Happy Potter, i try and avoid it. Well, Yesterday, on Myspace, there was a bulletin from a friend i know, but dont really talk or hang out with, more of an old school/neighborhood friend. Well, he posted a bulletin, with the title 'New Harry Potter!!!' He has been freaking and posting excited bulletins about seeing the movie, so i figure he saw it, and he was excited and posted a bulletin.
I was wronged.
The first line spoiled the deaths of the book. Apparently had it spoiled for him on the radio yesterday morning, and was pissed, so he decided to do it to other people. Most thingy move i can recall as of the late. So, i replied to him, just a simple 'Not Cool', and removed him from my friends list. His bulletins were weird and annoying anyway. I also sent out a bulletin to everyone on my friends list who might be friends with him to not open the bulletin.
So now i know who died. Im hoping it was wrong, just because im upset i was spoiled. But if the spoiler was right, then i guess what i have to look forward to is seeing how it happened. After all, the glass is half full.
If anyone wants to know, ill tell you after 1 'You sure'.
If that person has any friends left after that move.....I'd be VERY surprised.....they ought to be strung up! How rude and thoughtless can you get???? GEEEZ! No spoilers here please....just anticipation! ;D

Ack you guys are going to make me read the last 2 books and go out and buy this one!! They have been sitting on the shelf but I just didn't get around to reading them..... Now I have to!

We just got back from vacation and I finished the book at 11:00pm last night. Our RV trip brought us through Wilmington, OH where I asked the campground staff if they knew where we could pick up a book in the morning - they just looked at each other and laughed, turns out the town becomes Wizarding Wilmington, with the main streets closed and a huge HP festival for each book release. Nice close to our trip.
Who's up for a new thread for discussion and a nice strong Spoiler alert in the title? I'll start one but I'll delete it if there's any negative reaction.

^^So long as the spoiler notice is as obvious as it is, I don't mind. I still need to go get the book though, I'm not in much of a rush however...
oh, ccrgmac, I think I noticed it was your birthday while you were gone on your trip... so happy belated birthday! hope you had fun travels. sounds like it ended pretty awesome.
well apaprently the powers that be did not like the way the Harry Potter discussion thread was set up - soooo - I now have no one to discuss the book with and no where to discuss the book.
