Haha, I know right? God I hate working with those crazy liberals.
For real though, most people in my job don't like me because they're conservative...I'm not pushy with my politics, I'm just not afraid to speak up for what I believe in (and neither are they, for that matter). We had a pro-life rally outside our building last week (the kind with mangled baby pictures) and I proceeded to go downstairs and give them a piece of my mind (in a nice, well-thought out argument)....yeah, I wasn't too popular in the office after that.
The only harassment complaints brought to HR in our place recently were complaints about the guy from legal who delivered the anti-harrassment training and managed to offend everyone in the process. For example, he was encouraging people to consider differnt viewpoints on talking about sex "remeber that everyone's different - the Germans are screwing each other all the time, while the Brits are so uptight they never get any". Well, I'm a Brit (and he knew it) and I was sitting next to a young female transferee from our German office. I wasn't too bothered, but she was really upset and took it back to HR in Germany...
