Anyone up for a game this weekend …. It not an original thought or game, but it might be fun …. We have this cutout figure called flat Stanley and we put him somewhere in the department daily, a different or unusual location each time, and the goal is to try and find him … lets do the same … we have to agree on what the cutout should be, something easy that one could make in about 2 minutes (a red star, an orange box, something like that) … then take the cutout, we have to have a name for it to lol, and take a picture of it somewhere where you live … no fake Photoshop pics with it on the moon or something …. Try for an unusual place, in a dog house, on your roof with a picture of your house, you get it, or just the opposite, maybe a place that we all would recognize … it would be cool if we can go international like with our Brit friends … maybe the cutout at big Ben, or the Eifel tower, etc … we can post the pictures on the board, or if a lot of people want to play, you can email me the pics at my yahoo addy, and I can make a slide show in photobucket or something … so does anyone want to play this weekend, or am I just being goofy …. Let me know .. cr****
I think it sounds like fun - not sure if I would get a whole bunch of photos - but I think it would be a blast - something that can continue past this weekend - just take your cut out with you on your travels - LOL

yea we are going to play on the coachella board ... we are using a pic of this dudes washer (long story) ... lets play for a while till we get some good shots ... our washer is going to daft punk and red rocks for its first outing ... yea the voodoo fest, that will be a good start. come on gang, join meg and us in a picture gave ... cr**** oh btw, then what should we use for our traveling item ... bonnaroo specific or just something everyone will be able to make ?

olender, you are on the board a lot ... get more people to join us ... not that there are rules, but try to take some pics of not just unusual places, but maybe a place that is specific to where you live and no one else could take it ... on the coachella board, there are a lot of foreign people (europe etc) so we are going international ... meg, we still need to decide what our object is going to be ... cr****

So let me just get this straight... We're making our own cutouts of a Roo arch and placing it somewhere around where we are, take a picture of it, and then post it on here. Then in the end we have a nice collection of arches around the country? Sounds neat to me.

I think that is the general idea - sound slike alot of fun to me
Can we extend this for a week or so? I don't know if I have time to make the cutout and do the pics just for this weekend.
How about we make it throughout next week and compile photos next weekend or something?
I say we just start this weekend and then continue to do it for the rest of the year to keep each other amused. I plan on taking my Bonnaroo arch to Voodoo fest for picture ooportunities

I like that idea. It would be fun to extend it for a while because I'm not doing anything that interesting this weekend and I'm sure not many people want to see a photo of the arch in front of a row of restaurants here in beautiful Johnson City. ;D

hey i have been to johnson city (tenn right) and its not THAT bad, i lived in dickson and white bluff tn, now those are something else .... yes, no time limit on the game ... if we extend it for whenever, we can get a bunch of cool and funny pics .. cr****

yeah, you're probably right. There are some beautiful mountains here but the first thing people ask is if there are enough restaurants... haha! If you need to eat or shop, JC is the place to do it! ;D

i think she is a couple of years younger then ... and btw, i might be wrong on this , but i think i went to the first r & r concert at MTSU ... it was either csn or boston ... i would have to check that out and see if its right ... cr****

yep, i think we decided on the arch for sure ... hey if we run this till the next roo, maybe they will let us put up a little display like the wall of tags they had at the entrances ... cr**** oh btw, this game was just a lame excuse for me to buy a new camera ;D

I can make an arch for us if you all want the same arch to use. Let me know...it may take a day or so depending on my work load here, but I can make it....it will be simple and whatnot, but a uniformed look would be nice.

personally I was kind of excited to see how unique each person could make their arch... It's like a whole new way to express yourself. I dunno, if you want someone could make a standard arch and then if others feel like being overachievers they can make their own? Just my thoughts...

Ok, well I made a simple arch and it didn't take that long afterall!
Let's all decide what we want to do as far as the arch goes. I could email those that wanted to use the arch a pdf and they could print it at home or something.
