just got home and checked on the window unit - it has cooled the master bedroom down a ton - may be able to get the back of the house cool tonight - am thankful I am on budget billing for the electricity also - at least there will not be a surprise next month with that bill
^I stayed in a place once with utilities included and a window unit. At the end of the day I won for sure. It is amazing what one window unit and a fan can do for a place.

^I'm living in a duplex now with a window unit in the living room and one in the bedroom. As long as you are in one of those two rooms, it is completely comfortable, and our utility bill is not that bad at all.

GRRRR b/c I have premature ventricular contractions of the heart and while they are supposedly harmless (other than causing anxiety) they are driving my up the wall and making me feel like I am going insane or going to have a heart attack.
GRRRR # 2- My work plant is dying and it is all my fault. I am a plant killer.

So, the girl who used to live below us moved out, and a new guy moved in. He also has a dog. Today, the guy left for a ten-day camping trip to Yellowstone, and he just left his dog here. His sister or someone is coming by to let it out and feed it. She was here for about ten minutes. Is it just me, or is it really wrong to leave your dog basically alone for ten days? The dog clearly is not happy about it, as he has been barking pretty much non-stop for the last half hour. What is it with my neighbors and their dogs?
Also, he left all the lights and the air conditioner off. It's fucking July.

Yeah that is not cool at all. I would call my landlord and/or ASPCA.
