So, the girl who used to live below us moved out, and a new guy moved in. He also has a dog. Today, the guy left for a ten-day camping trip to Yellowstone, and he just left his dog here. His sister or someone is coming by to let it out and feed it. She was here for about ten minutes. Is it just me, or is it really wrong to leave your dog basically alone for ten days? The dog clearly is not happy about it, as he has been barking pretty much non-stop for the last half hour. What is it with my neighbors and their dogs?
Also, he left all the lights and the air conditioner off. It's smurfing July.

I'd be calling the ASPCA - you can't just leave for 10 days and leave your dog at home for someone to just come by and feed. And then to top it off - turn the A/C off in July? In Georgia? has he lost his freakin' mind?

i just got hone from another LONG and nutsy night at work to find out that my roommate broke my hookah!!!! im talking absolutly shattered the smurfing thing!!!!! ive had that piece for almost 7 years and it was SOOOOO schweet!!!! but on the plus side hes agreed to buy my ticket for the phish fest and cover my end of the gas for the trip so i guess ill let him live!

yep! it was at cobb...though i could'nt remember the name until your post! i had on of the aisle seats in row f for the wednesday show! i really hope he tours the states again soon! that shit was unbeleivably funny!

On the dog situation, Josh said that someone came by today and sat with him (the dog, not Josh) for about an hour and let him run around outside, so at least he got a bit more attention and playtime today. (I'm assuming they will be coming back tonight as well because they came around 6 or 7 last night).

^Not only did they come back, they stayed for a decent amount of time, and then they came back again around 3 this morning and were still there when I got up. Also, the air conditioner was on when I left this morning! Looks like maybe the person taking care of him was just busy the first day or something.
Frank Black's playing a "special early show" which begins in four hours. My eight-hour shift begins in ten minutes. Normally, I'd be getting to that venue around the time a headliner begins... but not at a "special early show." GRRRR
So apparently I had some bad karma coming my way and also I am just a complete idiot. Yesterday I smoked a nice big bowl, went to the pool, had my ipod on listening to some great tunes. And then I get in the pool with MY IPOD. Wtf. I am an idiot. Now it is dead dead dead. I put it in a baggie of rice, that's the only thing people seem to suggest. So say a little prayer for my poor ipod. And also that the wizard gives me a brain.

so i totaled my car driving thru a fucking monsoon on our way back from atlanta last nite after being thorouly disappointed by the bonobo show saturday! i spent most fo my money on WAAAYYYYY subpar party supplys then drunk way to much jager while tryin to compensate for bein ripped off....which gave me a wicked carzy hangover and now i have to wait until friday paycheck so that i can get my car towed here from dalton, ga! i guess that $2 bill i found was not so lucky afterall! FUCK!

I was swamped yesterday, so I let someone in my office with nothing to do "help" me, by giving him some really simple, very clearly explained, robot work
It took him all of 30 mins to finish, and then he went home until tomorrow... and this morning I come in to find out he did it ALL WRONG, and also, he just EMBARASSED THE HELL OUT OF ME, (this is how I found out about it) when the box office for Wicked just called me very confused and annoyed, to ask me WHAT THE HECK THIS PERSON WAS THINKING???
... and now, me fixing this will probably take, I'm guessing about 2 hours, plus a ton of frustration
I have had a freakin migraine for 2+ days now...and to the point that I have lost my appetite. Grrrr I wnat to go to the dr but I feel like it would be such a waste of time

with the time it takes me to get home and back to work on lunch i have about a 40 minute lunch (at home)....plenty of time to walk dusty....not if i have to clean crusty poop out from all over her cage, then shower her...i only had 7 minutes to walk her ended up doing a 10 minute run...back to work late grrrrrr
at least she didnt lay down in it...or i think she didnt, it wasnt ON her, but just on her paws and legs

I had company at my river camp this afternoon. They had plenty of ice in there cooler and I had some wine that needed chillin. Put it in their cooler and forgot to get it out before they left. I've still got a little and I drank enough of their beers to probably make up for it, but tomoorow's sunday and there ain't no alcohol sales in GA on sunday.
) We saw him then, too! I can't remember now which night we went to. 
Looks like maybe the person taking care of him was just busy the first day or something.
