After dealing with lawyers, mortgage companies, insurance companies, banks, and fianance managers... I have finally managed to get someone to tell me how to pay my mother's mortgage...
It was hours from being sold.
Turns out the guy who was supposed to handle it went on medical leave without doing anything about it. Leaving everybody clueless and putting everything at risk. We almost lost an entire townhouse simply because of slackness.
I had to get a badass attorney to call them and talk mean before I could even get the amount to pay and who to pay it to.

Karma as soon as I reset... these things get so ridiculously unneccessarily compli%$#@!^$cated My poor mother has been dealing with a lot of similar crap, though no mortgage troubles, thank god for that... and thank god for my sister, who has been helping to guide my Mom through this decrepidly, deceptive, awful tricky and sticky dark maze of red tape--- I mean, as if life isn't already hard enough for her these days
Anyway, once again, GREAT NEWS ALY! and BOO to things almost slipping through the cracks because of an awful cold callous system that could care less about anyone

MY GOD, does it EVER END, GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! So I just opened a brand new bag of potato chips, and they are all f*cking broken, no not just broken... PULVERIZED INTO TINY MOLECULE SIZED PIECES GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, it just never ends, %#@!@^&(*^!
grrrrrrrr. these last 2 weeks of school are really starting to stress me out. i have an exam in about 2 hours that i forgot about until last night at like midnight. i studied for about an hour or so and figured i'd get a lot done at work this morning. my job is usually really cool about schoolwork coming first. if you have studying to do or whatever they usually cut you some slack. NOT. first, i woke up a half hour later than i meant to. i was 15 mintues late for work because SURPRISE it snowed like 3 freakin inches over night and at 7a.m. they don't shovel the walkways?!?! my work is a good 20 minutes walk on a nice day.... in the snow, its longer!!! i got to work and was in the whole sweating.. but freezing uncomfortable state. ew. and to my surprise, NO ONE SHOWED UP FOR WORK TODAY!!!! i was expecting to come and do my share of work but still have plenty of time to study. no. i have 3 bosses. none of which came in today. and 2 co-workers that do the same job as me... and they decided to take the morning off too! so, i worked really fast. got everything done by 10a.m. whcih left me about an hour to study before my shift was over. as i'm studying, 1 of my bosses [one that only comes around like once a week and doesn't know whats going on but thinks she is more important than she is] shows up and starts yelling about how i shouldn't be doing homework. after i just busted my ass getting everything done she shows up. typical. freakin typical. so ahhhhhhhh. grrrrrrrrrrrr. sorry, i just needed to vent cause that just set me over the edge! back to studying.

its actually really interesting. its about all the types of media, like tv, radio, magazines, newspapers. we learn about how they are run and the impact they have on society and the restrictions they have and the ethics they follow. thats all interesting. its memorizing all the laws and court cases that made laws and whatever thats driving me nuts!! haha

its actually really interesting. its about all the types of media, like tv, radio, magazines, newspapers. we learn about how they are run and the impact they have on society and the restrictions they have and the ethics they follow. thats all interesting. its memorizing all the laws and court cases that made laws and whatever thats driving me nuts!! haha
LOL! Sounds like my "Ethics In Journalism" class I had....just expanded for mass media......yep learn that "abscence of malice" case....it's the important one - LOL!

Winamp for music and most movies.. if you are like me, you'll like classic mode better
VLC player for movies that won't use winamp and some DVDs
Nero for CD burning. It isn't free but I dont recall paying for it..

ok - the first part really really suck hairy donkey balls if it goes through - that is just not right!
The second part - I found out via email today - which was really good because I had already requested leave for that day and I got to go in and cancel my request!
Grrr...I REALLY can't stand people who are way way too overzealous at shows. You know the type...usually 'built' bald guys who "TOTALLY LOVE THIS BAND BRAH!" and have to jump up and down and headbang and air guitar and in the process step on your toes and nearly smack you in your face. Annoys the crap out of me. Sad thing is, this happened at a Led Zeppelin cover band last night. Geez.

I hate when I wake up to the smell of coffee brewing and walk to the living room to see my roommate enjoying the last of the coffee. It's such an emotional letdown... Plus it means a necessary walk in the cold to get more. A man needs his coffee though...

Lonely since his girl of 11 years left, my best friend's been living kind've sad hermit-like. So he decides to go out Friday to see his friend's show and have some fun. On the way home, he trips and falls... or so he thought when he woke up on the ground, face torn apart, but the x-rays say he was actually assaulted... he can't remember anything from 'wow that show rocked' to owwwch, WTF At least they didn't rob him, and it could've been worse (ie:he gets to keep his right eye, only a small chance he'll need a plate in his cheek, etc...) anyway, he went and crawled out of his shell for a rare night out, and found reconstructive surgery waiting... so if we can forget the karma for just a moment... anyone who's interested, I'm putting together one powerful collective smite... to be directed towards the NYC area, to the worthless souls who hurt my best friend, I want to help make sure they get what is coming to them
He seems to be in good spirits, though, considering he can't talk. And he's got his inforoo too... stripersonline.com, or SOL, pretty much exactly like here, except it begins with a bunch of maniacs who happen to like to fish, but then from there... well, we all love Bonnaroo/music after all, and look where that's gotten us

My computer got hit! Someone got through my firewall and loaded a whole bunch of crap onto my computer. So I have no computer for a couple of days. I dropped it off to be debugged, and hopefully, I'll get it back tomorrow or thursday. Fuckers!!!
