How would I have heard about it? We need to get together so I can get the low down. Nothing surprises me anymore, especially when it comes to ex husbands/wives.

So, I was parked in a small parking lot of a restaurant about two months ago. Someone backed into my car and scraped the hell out of the rearend. No big deal really. Insurance covered everything. It was a pain in the ass trying to get the check from them, but I got it. So I take it in about a month ago to get repainted. My friend works at the body shop so I figure they'll do a good job. While my friend is driving my car, he notices a problem with the suspension. So they paint the car and then I take it to my mechanic. I have an extended warranty that I bought with the car. "Bumper to bumper, all you have to pay is a $100 deductible" says the car salesman. Well, apparently the warranty company doesn't want to pay for as much labor, as much for parts, etc... even though the shop uses a computer program to figure labor. So I have to pay as much as the warranty company does. Whatever, I just want my car fixed. When I pick it up from the mechanic, I notice that the brand new paint is cracking, peeling, and bubbling. WTF? I drive it for a week and the suspension starts having the same problem. So I take it back to the shop. "Oh it looks like it needs some new bushings in the sway bar, That'll be another $100 deductible." I say, "No, that should have been fixed with the last bill." They say, "oh well they already sent us payment". I tell them to fuck off and tell the owner to call me. They agree to do the labor for free which sounds fair. So I take it back to be repainted this week. They say,"drop it off at 8, we'll have a rental car waiting for you". I get there, no rental car, they're not ready for me, I have to be at work in 5 minutes, and I now have to go to the rental car place and and fill out all the fucking paperwork. So I'm late to work now, I have a patient waiting on me, which puts me behind all day long. I go to pick up my car this am, I get in and it seems sluggish when I'm driving up this massive hill. I think, well, maybe it's just the difference in the feel of the gas pedal on my car vs. the rental. I make it to work just fine, go out for lunch and the battery is completely dead. My Subaru has running board lights. There is a little switch on the steering wheel that turns these on. I've never used this switch but it's flipped. When they paint a car there, they clean the inside out as well. They must have flipped the switch and left it on all day/night. I call my friend and he comes out to look at it, eventually gets it started. When I picked up my car, it took them awhile to drive it out of the shop. The boss comes in and tells me that they had to move a couple of cars to get it out. My friend tells me that they had to jump it. Why can't they just have told me that. I would have been more careful and let it run for awhile before shutting it off. Instead they lie. I don't understand people who do not own up to their mistakes. I was stressing because I have my first photo gig shooting a band portrait after work and I have to drive across town.

I hate it when people do me that way, I mean in general. No one ever wants to admit they made a mistake and they always want to make you believe that it's really your fault when in reality it's their fault.

I freaking knew it. I looked everywhere for the charger to my camera, EVERYWHERE. I had to order it since I had to take pics yesterday. I even had to pay for one day shipping so I could get it in time. When I was ordering it, I told myself that as soon as it came that I would find it. I just found the muthafucker. There's $60 down the drain. grrrr

I don't know why it never occurred to me to let you use mine for the time being, I only use it once every couple weeks at most. Oh well. Sell it on Craigslist / Ebay / whatever, I'm sure you can get near the price you paid probably!
This isn't so much of a "Grrrr.." as it is a "Shedding tears..." but I lost my Bonnaroo '09 bracelet. I had it hanging from the wall of my cubicle this whole time and when I bought my Roo ticket a month or two ago I took it down and put it on my keychain to psych me up about the coming summer of fun. Shouldn't have done that. I think it's gone forever. Grrrr... sad.
Well I was too stupid to put it on an actual keyring, I have this double sided carabiner that I use to attach my keys to a belt loop, it was on one side of that, one time or another when I went to put it on my loop it must have just dropped right out and floated away. Don't know what I was thinking.
^^those prices are precisely why it looks unlikely that I'll be seeing MMJ this tour
Also, all the money I was saving to go to ATP now has to be put towards car repairs..... GRRRRRR (thankfully I have six months to come up with the funds)

I REALLY like TP...I LOVE MMJ! And CSN is great. But for $300+ it would take some resurrection to make me pay those prices...and some pretty selective ones at that!

I've been ALL over town, can't find a wireless Guitar Hero guitar for XBox 360 anywhere! We have three but every one of them has been either played to death or was already messed up when we bought it (brand new may I add!). Been to every pawn shop, Walmart, Game Stop, K-Mart, Big Lots, Freds... we can only find one for every other game system but XBox 360! Guess I'll try online...
if anyone know's how to fix a damaged one (the buttons are sticking on two of them and on the other there must be a short somewhere where the neck conects into the base I think) let me know b/c it would probably save us a little money.

Yep, Nikon. You're right, at least I have a back up and can charge two batteries at once.

85% of the people I went to high school with are ultra conservative. Maybe it is immature of me (I know I should respect freedom of speech) but I've just started defriending them on facebook when they keep posting these stupid, bigoted articles about obama and liberals. Maybe this makes me just as bad as them, but they all seem so ignorant! I can hardly stand it.

^Haha, I don't think anything bad of you! I've started defriending people for things such as posting Nickleback lyrics. I just don't feel the need to be friends with someone on Facebook I have nothing in common with or haven't talked to in years, and still don't. At first I kinda felt bad, but now it's become more of a game ;D

On topic, grrrrrrrr at my boss. She is a friendless, mean-spirited, two faced, awful person. She overheard me discussing my summer plans with a customer (he saw my Bonnaroo bracelet and struck conversation) and now, all of a sudden, my days have been cut from 6 a week down to 2 Now I'm having to consider selling the individual show tickets I've already bought, skipping all other festies I was on the fence about and starving myself of live music (and possibly food) from now until Bonnaroo, just to make it. I'm in the process of looking for a new job but not having much luck at the moment Y'all keep your fingers crossed!

Oh and like the idiot I sometimes am, I waited too long to get my Spoon tickets and they are now sold out. To top it all off Maylene canceled their show too! So now I'm thinking of getting tickets to the Pretty Lights show at Sloss Furnace in B'Ham on the 27th and I may even go to the Bassnectar show next month in Tuscaloosa.
