Ok - I noticed ya'll talking about this but apparently no one is brave enough to start it - so here I am
You have to answer the question previously asked and ask a new question at the end of your post - the new question does not have to be related to the previous question and your answer to the previous question does not necessarily have to make a lot of sense nor be accurate.

I think it's more of a question of WHAT ate gilbert grape, which would be his disfunctional family, the small town, and the lack of a stable relationship that ate Gilbert Grape.

yes, he has hit 755 and will hit 756 homeruns without being suspended from the league for substance abuse so of course he does (in my opinion... atleast )
If you could be promised multiple millions of dollars a year to play a sport you love and be one of the best just by drinking performance-enhancing juices that aren't banned at the time would you?

Yes, which I'd be glad to hear if you could provide more input than "I hate barry cause he uses drugs and Hank Aaron didn't" (which I assume since you appear to have atleast half a brain, then you probably do )
What's the best all around cartoon show you've ever seen?

top cat
if barry drank his juice through a needle straight into a vein without a perscription could you call that legal even if the league was not testing for steroids at that time hasn't the law still been broken?
Post by strumntheguitar on Aug 7, 2007 15:08:24 GMT -5
if it was a prescription drug that he did in fact not have a prescription for and he was injecting it and it's a drug banned by the league, then yes... but if there's no proof of any of that, then it's just opinions and accusations.
Should this discussion be turned into it's own thread to take away from potential random questions wanting to be asked and answered in here?
It depends on whom you would like to believe. The Anglo-Saxons used the word 'butterfloege' because their most common butterfly was the yellow brimstone butterfly. This English influence was brought to the new world. In the colonies, people claimed that at night witches would turn into winged creatures and steal butter. In other languages the butterfly's name means 'licker of milk' and milk thief. So maybe they were not off the mark. In Russia they're called 'babochka' or 'little soul'. The ancient Greeks called butterflies 'Psyche' which also means 'soul.' Many cultures feel that when we die our souls go to heaven as butterflies. In France they are called 'papillon.' Parking tickets are called 'papillon' too, because they are big pieces of yellow paper. When they are placed under a windshield wiper they flap like a big yellow butterfly. The Sioux Indians called butterflies 'fluttering wings'. There are other stories which are not as pleasant. The Dutch word for butterfly, describes the color of when they go to the bathroom. It is a yellow drop from something that flies.
was that alot more information then you actually wanted? Doncha love the internet - all that knowledge right at your fingertips if you know where to look
because they are sweet and creamy like butter and they fly.
what causes athletes foot?
Athlete's foot is a skin infection in the foot caused by a fungus. The fungus that causes Athlete foot is called Trichophyton. When the feet, or other areas of the body, stay moist, warm and irritated, this fungus can thrive and infect the upper layer of the skin.
Athlete foot is caused by the ringworm fungus ("tinea" in medical jargon). Athlete foot is also called tinea pedis. The fungus that causes Athlete foot can be found on floors and in socks and clothing. The fungus can be spread from person to person by contact with these objects. However, without proper growing conditions (a warm, moist environment), the fungus will not infect the skin. Up to 70% of the population will have athletes foot at some time during their lives.

Why does bad luck always come in threes?
Because a higher power decided to give us a break and not make it four.
Why does everybody talk about how hot it is in August when it's ALWAYS hot in August?
Why does everybody talk about how hot it is in August when it's ALWAYS hot in August?
because we always forget about how hot it can get in August - I watched my forecast this morning in disbelief - it will be 101 on Saturday here - if you factor in the heat index - wow prolly more like 110
I would think that even people in Alaska complain about the heat in August - after all - they are used to freezing temperatures the rest of the time.
Do you think that it is possible that Sponge Bob Squarepants lives in a pineapple under the sea and, if so, where did he get his pet snail and what exactly are crabby patties made from?
