Trash talk before the first official Saturday of college football kicks off??? I am off for a family "thang" a couple of hours down the road in a few, but the TV will be on all afternoon flipping around the games so I know I won't miss anything other than the road time
My $.02 contribution: AU rolls over K-State at home even without Lester ( academic probation? Come on guys.....that isn't supposed to happen here, that's, like a TN thing - sorry troo! )
Regal Regal War Damn Eagle Kick 'Em in the Butt Big Blue - Hey!

Sorry to say.... I went to see the Panthers play the Patriots last week. They looked like they didnt want to be out there at all....except for Steve Smith. Maybe it'll get better. They were doing the same stupid nuts they did when the old coordinator was there...like trying to run the ball on a 3rd and 14....and this was starting lineup. derrrrr
NICE! i love it. it looks like my football wishes are finally coming true. all i hod to do was root for my team to lose. see ya later carr!!!! dont let the door hit ya in the ass! now i just hope they lose all the rest of their games too. if they lose em all they can beat the bucks and carr will still get fired. hopefully they will fire carr today and then we can wint the rest of our games and still be in the title hunt.

What the hell is PERRY FERRELL doing singing the opening diddy to the football game w/ 50 senseless and the other tit and ass girl? wow That is the LAST person I expected to see doing that. What a disappointment.
Looks like my trashy mouth almost cost AU the game tonight....LOL! U G L Y! I had flashbacks to GA Tech last year..... Sigh. But Auburn has always been a 4th quarter team...NOT good for my nerves...... And as young as this team is.....worse than normal.....
This is actually one week I was pulling for the Vols...and they didn't pull it out
And sorry Irish fans....I know your pain....I was feeling it EXACTLY a year ago....
But how 'bout those Mountaineers! ;D Absolutely Fab!
I'm actually not mad about Notre Dame's worst season opening loss ever. They need a few games to settle quarterback issues and the offense, and they will be fine. I don't expect a team who lost a bunch of great players and leaders to be great the next year. And the fact that the defense looked good was refreshing since the last 4 years have been terrible. Plus, I prefer blowouts to close game losses. With blowouts I have time to settle down and let the losses sink in. With close game losses I get really angry. hehe
Yeah, ND dint look to good no matter who fat charlie put in at qb. I was sooo sidappointed in TN's defensive showing against cal. I was pretty impressed withthe offense. Normally, in the sec if you score 31 thats enough to win. TN defense looked horrible. Cal was so fast!

I have to say, you take it better than I do....LOL! I don't think most people would like to watch an AU football game with me when we are losing...except that I am sure it is quite entertaining....I'm sure I sound like the dad in "A Christmas Story" when he's fixing the furnance.....not even real, complete obscenities....just jibberish! Lot's of that last night....I think my best friend is the only one who can understand it cause she's the same way... ;D We just get on the phone and watch the games....saves everyone else the pain...except when it gets close neither of us can watch....we both leave the room...we are both such wusses....
I believe ND is in a "rebuilding year".....it sounds better than "in for a long season"....AU is too, at least to an extent. We are just lucky to have a Sr QB in Cox and a couple of returning Srs on Defense that hopefully will make it not so painful a year while the freshmen get some experience....especially that mostly freshmen Offensive line....man that may KILL Cox this season..... Come back soon, Lester....Cox is gonna need a go-to man.....FAST!

I was kind of wondering the same thing about TN last night....they hung with Cal till the end of the game....I think that late injury really took the wind out of them, I felt really bad for that. But it was a REALLY offensive game. In the trenches is their D gonna hold up? And really their offense hasn't had the SEC-D test yet.....I'm sure they'll bounce back....the Vols are always tough....but last night they looked rougher than I was expecting....who gets the revenge blood bath next week?
Weagle, Weagle, War Damn Eagle Kick 'Em in the Butt Big Blue -- HEY!
My Tigers had me worried until the last 3 minutes of the game. I hate it when they do that. AUBURN....
LOL! Thanks for sending me back to school! It's been a while....you are 100% correct...I have been away FAAR too long! I looked it up (gotta love the internet.... ;D) Here's the whole cheer for those that want to cheer along with us:
BODYGETTA CHEER Bodygetta Bodygetta Bodygetta Bah Rah Rah Rah Sis Boom Bah Weagle Weagle War Damn Eagle Kick em in the butt, Big Blue Hey!
I know what you mean....I think they scared us ALL till the last 3 minutes....including Tommy! No more like that this season eh? Karma for the correction - and the good memories!
Just for dude....from Stewart Mandel's SI.com blog.....the subject.. "Things We Learned This Saturday".....
" 2. That this will be Lloyd Carr’s final year as Michigan's coach. What was previously just a widespread hunch is now a foregone conclusion. Carr has a better chance of watching the Wolverines’ 2008 season opener from a broadcast booth (as Larry Coker so awkwardly did for the Miami-Marshall game Saturday) than he does of coaching it from the sideline. Personally, I’ve always been on the fence regarding the criticism surrounding Carr. While I’ve long believed Michigan to be either perpetually overrated (both in the polls and the recruiting rankings) or, more realistically, a chronic underachiever, it’s not in my nature to come down on a guy that goes to three Rose Bowls in four years. So much for that.
I don’t doubt Mike Hart and Co. will rebound to have a decent season, but the fact is, Michigan, for all its national prestige, hasn’t as much as sniffed a national title since 1997, and Saturday’s debacle was definitive proof that the Wolverines never will without some sort of regime change. Carr won’t be fired, mind you. But he loves Michigan football more than anyone on the planet, and as such he will do what’s best for the program and gracefully step aside. "

Well, my team/soon to be Alma mater (wow that is scary)...UAB got slaughtered by Mich. State. And from the looks of C-USA this past Saturday, it's going to be a long season. ECU held up well against Virginia Tech, Memphis (boo!) played pretty well, and TCU won. All teams we have to play this year. All I'm praying for is something better than 3-9! Come on Calloway!
My other allegiances lie with UA because I grew up a Crimson Tide fan, but I don't really watch them much anymore because why cheer for a school I don't give money to? lol
Oh and freedomofmusic, I live about .5 seconds down the hill from the old Berry High School. Small world.
