Our local Game Stop is having a midnight Halo 3 release party tonight and my son and I are going. It is from 9 - 12 and they will have raffles and drawings and stuff. They are supposed to also have some folks dressed up in Master Cheif uniforms...
I plan on getting some pictures....It should be fun.

Well, the "event" was a non-event at our Game Stop. we just sat in line for 2 hours....
however, Halo 3 is Beautiful!!! Wow, I have not beaten the campaign yet, (I will prob finish it tonight) but the multiplayer is just awesome! I love the forge and the video options.
It is too cool to watch the video of a match you just played...

Well, I beat H3 last night. My total gaming time for the entire campaign was 5 hrs, 27 mins.
The gameplay was smooth and the environment is absolutely beautiful, I just couldnt help but feel like I was playing a rehash of Halo 1. I am a little disappointed in the storyline wrap up. It was almost as if they weren't ready for the story to end, but could not come up with anything else so left it on a cliffhanger.
The new multiplayer is a blast. Much improved over H2.
I've gotten five levels in and almost done with six on Heroic. I lost a whole nights progress cause i forgot to save and quit. I die alot cause i like to pull off crazy sh1t and halo is a game where i dont mind dieing because of the ragdoll effects. It seems easier than halo 2 probly cause there are none of those damm duel wielding elites. Great Game i think, and alot of fun to play. Cant wait till i finish it so i can get into some online play.
FINISHED! @ 4:30 am. Wierd cliff hanger, cant imagine where they are gonna go with that. Everything seems mostly resolved though so its not anoying. I believe ill wait awhile before trying a legendary campaign.

dayum tho...aint it disappointing to finish a game that fast? maybe thats not the right word, but when its done its done....and you want to keep playing the new part...but then you have finished the game
Well.. there is legendary and then online multiplayer, which is what the game was made for imo. That game has tons of life left in it. Ill probly be playing it until x-box next comes out.
