Had a friend with something similar. Wound up it was diverticulitis. They may have to do a colonoscopy to get a better look. So sorry you guys were up all night
Oh I am sure he will be happy to hear about a potential colonoscopy - LMAO LMAO (sorry - I am really tired and for some reason - picturing the look on his face if the doc suggests a colonoscopy is just priceless)
Yea, wish I had a camera when they told me I was getting one. Now I have had 5. Did you know that when you get 4 the 5th one is FREE? Not really, but I made up a punch card coupon like they have a sandwich shops and brought it to my Doctor right before he did the procedure. He laughed
Got home from India a couple days ago but brought some nice intestinal friends home with me. Been in bed and in the bathrrom constantly (and pretty much had to secure my own private airline bathroom for the 30 hour, 3 plane ride home.) That's the main reason haven't been posting yet. Will post some notes and pics when my little friends finally leave.
hmm, this is weird.. I've had a headache for 3 days now, and a stiffish neck.. it doesnt hurt, its just stiff.. my headache seems to constantly be there, with more severe moments.. I have no idea what the f is going on but I want it to end soon..

Don't you hate when you have a sore throat or other sickness and you do everything in your power to get better and it just doesn't happen? I've been downing vitamin C like no other, sleeping an abnormally long time each night, and haven't had a smoke of any kind in 3 or 4 days.

...maybe the lack of smoke is why i'm sick ;D
Did you know that too much of the C can actually make you worse? I read it on Wed MD not too long ago.
On a side note.... my ear is stopped up ( its horrible. I've been saying "huh" all the time, my other ear hurts because I have to listen to music 3Xs as loud to be able to enjoy it. And its my right ear which is the one I automatically go to with the phone when I answer it so my conversations go like this:
/picks up the phone/
Me: Hello?
Phone: ......
Me: Hello?
Phone: ........
Me: /looks at phone/ DAMNIT /switches ears/ Hello?
Friend: WTF Laura?!? You need to go to the doctor about that shit. Thats getting old.
hehe its funny when I type it out but not funny in circumstance. Maybe the doc can fix my memory problem too ^_^
I got all my results back from my prostate exam and bloodwork .. Im so screwed . My prostate is in bad shape , and then the Dr say's im on the verge of a stroke , my bloodwork . alone put me on a strick low fat diet, and they said i must stop smoking ,, well that aint happening , I may need an operation aint to pleased but hey what can you do my cholseterol is 308 and everything else raised flags too. now the meds im on they say will destroy the liver if not monitored so more bloodwork every 30 days ,Damn all this hell at 41 and im in great shape , well i look good , healthy , no more good foods for me . i asked if i could get a yellow card for corn and my Dr laughed.... oh well this yr i think the $10 burrito at roo might be outta the question ..
wow, that sucks. my thyroid has apparantly decided - eh - no need to work properly anymore. so now i take a pill.
and i have to have bloodwork at least every 3 months. forever.

That was my attitude when I was diagnosed last year also - but once you start taking yourr meds and get them in your system - you will be amazed at how much better you feel - I never really realized that it would make that much of a difference. The 3 month bloodwork is worth it
Wow Korvette. That sucks. But my cholesterol and lipids were way high but medication brought me down to normal. Liver checks are just a precaution as almost all meds are filtered thru the liver. Usually it's no problem.
Let's hope the prostate thing self corrects as surgery is NOT a good thing around all those nerves and such.

well we will see what happens .. i feel ok .. im on 0.4 mg of Flowmax , thats for the prostate . and im on 20 mg of Lovastatin. i been on the Flowmax 3 weeks now , and it seems to work with the flow , but im still getting up 3-4 times a night to pee. Im just hoping the meds take care of it ..
