Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I am starting a sick thread, so that when you are feeling under the weather, as I am today, you can post here and get a bit of well deserved sympathy. Does not matter what the illness happens to be, we are an equal opportunity feel bad thread. Have a Cough, post it here. Large copious amounts of green mucous coming out of every orifice, we are the spot to complain. Hang nail. Got you covered. This should take us through the long cold winter while we wait for those Roo tickets to go on sale.

(see the "random thoughts" thread for full details on my injury incurred recently)
so my mom's friend gave me 3 of her tylenol 3s (ooooh, big sh!t, i know) which lasted all of a couple hours considering how painful and swollen my face is. Now that I'm back at work and the injuries have had a chance to really set, I have two horrible black eyes. I want someone to take a pic and i'll show ya'll. Im wearing makeup but there's only so much that will help, so today has been a long day... working by myself front desk at a busy hotel, I encounter approximately 50-100 people (mostly guests but a handful of housekeeping staff as well) and have gotten around 77 curious looks today, 15 or so inquiries about my face, and 2 people threatening to "dish out an @ass kickin" to whomever beat the crap out of me... i try to explain but people just think i'm lying. trust me, if someone hit me, you wouldn't hear anything from me about it afterwards 'cept "Yeah, you should see the other guy!" druid, poopz, and anyone else afflicted, i hope you feel better! meditate on Roo and the happiness you feel will accelerate your healing.
I had surgery a week and a half ago and I still can't walk or sit without pain.
I've been rockin' the hydrocodone everyday. Work is difficult and I'm sleepy all the time. Hopefully this will go away soon and I will get well and be able to sit at work without pain.
Hope everyone starts to feel better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Karma to oleander for surviving surgery, and having hydrocodone! Hope you get better soon. I am headed to the Doctor at 10:15. It was either that or die.
I have a bulging disc around C5- C6. Every once in a while it gets all inflamed and then presses on a nerve. The pain spreads from my neck, all over my shoulder, and down my arm. I can't turn my head to look right. Driving can be a chore. Sometimes after I lay down I can't get back up without being pulled up by my hands. OW!
^^^^so sorry alyroo use one of those thermocare neck patches. Gives you 8-10 hours of heat. and a muscle relaxer if you have it. another inexpensive method is to get an old sock and put rice in it. put this in the microwave a few minutes and that will give you 30 minutes or so of nice warmth for the neck. Ibuprofen is good also for the inflamation. Hope this helps
"Céline Dion is going to try to sing. This isn't a setup for a joke. She's had a viral infection for the last several days and is so stuffy and hoarse that she's already canceled four performances at Caesars Palace, sending home 16,000 brokenhearted Céline-deprived fans."
So I went to Keller last night and I guess moved my head too much. Shocking, I know. Well, my neck is more stuck than it was before. I can't seem to find a comfy spot when I lay down... or sit either. If all my weight is on my left foot and I put my right arm up in the air, it's almost OK.
Crap!
I've got moist heat for the tense muscles, ibuprofen as an anti-inflammatory, and corn. What I really need is a muscle relaxer and some REALLY BIG pain pills.
Boz is sicky - he was home most of last week throwing up - 36 straight hours - 2 doctor visits - and finally went to work Friday. He started up again last night and is at home in the bed - I feel kinda sorry for him.

Poor Boz!!! That is the worst kind of sick. I wonder why it came back. That is odd....
I'm still coughing from Bonnaroo, plus I picked up something at Voodoo. (Fest Lung?) Didn't have a voice from Monday til Thursday. Now I just sound sexy!
I've got an appointment with a pulmonary specialist tomorrow.
Like my Doc said, at least I won't have to sit through the lecture about smoking......... [Rather worried about what's wrong.]
Wow, so many sick people, so little time. What am I saying, I am sick and on vacation. That is why I am so pissed off, if you can't tell from my posts.
First, Aly you need muscle relaxers. Find some, steal some. Generic Flexeril are really cheap and great.
Boz was sick on his birthday too. With the stomach stuff if I recall. Need to find out what is causing all the vomiting. Sounds like more than just a bug.
HappyBunny, good you are going to a lung doctor. Since you were a smoker, you may have picked up a case of asthma. Not so bad, just have to treat your lungs with care and respect.

Yup - he was - they took a stomach x-ray last week and discovered what I already knew - he was full of gas - did blood tests - showed his red blood cell level was little high (dehydration) and then ran some more tests toc heck gall bladder function - but they called him on Friday and said it all looked ok and they wanted to check on him in about a week and a 1/2.
Then last night he started throwing up again and was up all night (which of course, means - I was up and down all night also)
Had a friend with something similar. Wound up it was diverticulitis. They may have to do a colonoscopy to get a better look. So sorry you guys were up all night

Oh I am sure he will be happy to hear about a potential colonoscopy - LMAO LMAO (sorry - I am really tired and for some reason - picturing the look on his face if the doc suggests a colonoscopy is just priceless)
