Online....I know www.gamestop.com has them....and all the local gamestops around here have some - at least that's what they are showing from the website. I pre-ordered online. That's the site I usually have the best luck with for video systems/games.

Those are cool And I would love to add moe and Phish et al too....maybe the XBox will expand the downloads to include more jam band selections....or there is always the hack option if you are adventurous enough
Yeah, I haven't played GH III yet, but has anyone else gotten the new Check Mii Out Channel? It's freakin awesome. It's free in the download store. You can look at other people's Mii's and take them for your own. You can also post your own Mii's that you've made and people vote for em and you can become a Mii Artisan. It's pretty great. I spent like 2 hours on there grabbing Mii's today. Good stuff.
Don't have the Wii, but I have the PS2 version of GHIII, I am addicted. Lots of real good songs on this one. Personally, I'm a big fan of Mississippi Queen, The Seeker, Black Magic Woman, and Cherub Rock. Real fun songs to play there
Cherub Rock and Mississippi Queen are also two of my faves....I am torn between like this set list better or the first GHI set list better......I and III are DEF better than II.....can't wait to see it for the XBOX...it is supposed to be an enhanced list that you can download more to.....
The Wii guitar is very cool though. I got to play a friends, the controller fits inside the guitar, and it's in the shape of a Les Paul guitar rather than a Kramer, also the Wii controller makes noises when you mess up and vibrates too. It's really cool, wish I had more money to go buy a Wii................
Wonder what songs they will have to download......On GHII, the songs available to download on 360 were not very good, they only came out with a few to download as well.

You are an AWESOME sis! ;D For the wii, the game w/a Les Paul style wireless controller is about $89 dollars list....you'll be hard pressed to find it for less. but DON'T pay more for it....you can get if for that price online (+ shipping and maybe tax depending) from gamestop.com or walmart.com or target.com....don't let the outrageous markups at some of the brick-and-mortar stores scare you....

id spend like 150 bucks or so for his gift..so we are a go. i better order this now and not later. ill do it this week ;D u think he will be pleased??? he had the guitar hero at his last pad but it was his friends and his friend took it back...
Guitar Hero III is the best so far. It actually feels like a real video game with Boss Battles and such. But i do honestly feel that some of the Expert songs are blatantly and overly difficult. It was never really an issue before.
That being said, my favorite song on there is "Knights of Cydonia" on Expert and The Fall of Troy "R.E.M.I.X." bonus song on medium. :-)

so i cant freaking find the guitar hero for wii online ANYWHERE! im going insane, ive tried all dif sites this succksss. i will try to hit toys r us in times square but i dont want to go there if they are sold out too HELP ME PPL

haha yea bama when i first started on guitar hero 2 i couldn't play for shitts; now i tear it up on hard, and could do expert until i stopped playing for a couple months before 3 came out
Can't do expert yet.....Hard is actually easier for me on a lot of the songs than easy or medium....I think it's the chord thing....chords are easier for me than the single notes....and hammers....those concepts are probably harder for non-players. It's just finding the rhythm....and on slow mode it's so OFF That makes it harder too.....
I do think all the funky "attacks" you can use in battle mode detract a bit.....but that's just me....I guess it would be impossible to beat the bosses without them. I guess that's the "game" part of the video "game" - LOL!

yea i dont like battle mode. unless you and the person can play on the same difficulty it suckks because its waaay too easy for someone on medium to beat me when i'm on hard.

I love all the guitar hero hacks.....would never have the patience to figure out how to do it....well figuring it out wouldn't be the hard part...actually getting motivated to DO all the work involved...THAT would be the part I would never get around to LOL I looked it up once and it's like a bazillion steps
the rock band game that just came out has a guitar with 10 buttons, the regular 5 on top like guitar hero, then 5 more towards the bottom of the neck. The ones at the bottom of the neck are only used for solos though.
^its kinda hard to see the buttons, you just have to look for the colors at the bottom, you'll see if you look hard. this guitar also has switches and knobs, not really sure how they are used in the game though
