i have a bucket of tickets/wristbands that i plan on keeping forever. i keep the bracelets on for a week or two, but eventually i stick them in there before they're too worn.
I'm going to put my purple 08 one back on before this year for sure. Eventually I'll make a real bracelet out of it but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

STILL ROCKING IT! and last night i had a roo dream.. .i showed up .. and had my purple bracelet on my left wrist (where it currently is) and i was holding up my right wrist with the new 2009 bracelet which in my dream was a tealish/sky blue. WEIRD.
in reality tho.. im slapping the new one on the same wrist!
also. in hawaii last week.. i met a chic who was still wearing her norwegian festy bracelet.
How do you make a wrist band last more than a month? This blows my mind because with all the craziness I get into at Roo by the end of the four days I'm there my wrist band is about to fall off on it's own...
I've still got mine on. I was planning on wearing it there this year but if they're going to cut it off I'm gonna take it off myself right before I leave.

I cannot imagine that before last year anyone was able to keep the wristband on since they were plastic. I still have mine on from last year, since it is way more comfortable than the ones from years in the past. On the note of them making you take off the old one when you get there, I think it all depends on which volunteer staff you get that puts on you. Some of the staff are dicks and it never makes any sense to me since they pretty much get their tix for free.
I mean think about it. You are wearing what is essentially your ticket, a proof of purchase. Would it make any sense at all to let people walk around with old ones on? I skipped last year but the two years before when I was checking in at VIP I saw people having to remove their bands at check in.

I just took mine off a couple days ago. I was really high, and thought it was logical. The "b" in bonnaroo started fraying, and I wanted to salvage what was left of it. Now I can just tie it around my wrist when I want.

Just wrap an elastic bandage around it and say you sprained your wrist. I'm bringing one for volunteer check-in and going thru Centeroo gates, just in case.

Me and my buddies from last year kept them on till january, one of them passed away so we all cut them off and put them in the casket for his wake. He was still rockin his though so it was nice to see. Man it was tough, he already had his ticket and everything for this year. All i know is where going to party it up for him this year! Rip Sam Summers.
oorannob-That is a really sad story but I bet he is looking down and smiling knowing what ya'll did for him. I'm glad they kept his on him too. We should drink a toast in his honor at the inforoo brunch.
I'm not rocking my wristband but my husband's truck windshield is still sporting the marker they put there. Apparently they used some kind of heavy duty permanant marker cause that shiz WILL NOt come off.

I didn't know volunteer's did check-in. I thought they were all Manchester people....

Good job! I wonder if this year's wrisbands will be like last year's or if they'll go back to the old style. I hope the former.

Alright...sorry this is my first time going! and I am going VIP which I am quiet lucky actually but does VIP get the same wristband as everyone else? like does it say VIP or something on it? and is it that plastic type or is it the cloth type if that makes sense? (type from the first picture)
