My wristband was off before I got back to my tent sunday night after Phish. I'm not a fan of wearing wristbands or watches or necklaces or any sort of thing like that.

Cut mine off in the parking lot of a Waffle House monday, I was in such a hurry to leave Monday that I forgot to remove it. When I arrived in the real world I felt like a Summers breeze for still having it on. It smelled pretty ripe too, but all us skeevy hippies in the Waffle House did too, I felt real bad for this woman sitting at the bar surrounded be everyone who had left Bonnaroo.
Edit: Summers breeze, love the auto-edit on this board...
not only is my 2009 wristband on still, so is my 2008 one! it looks like next year is a no go for me but i will not take them off till i go to roo again. i kinda look at it as a wedding ring. its my commitment to make it back to the farm for the 2011 festival.

^ thats impressive. I took mine off, i stopped leaving it on after like my third roo, but i have all the wrist bands from all my roos (2003 to present)
i took mine off when i got home. wore it all the way to florida for my vacation before i cut it off tho. My roo buddy actually had a tan line when we got home from florida from her wristband.

I still have mine! I like that it's cloth so it gets clean with me. It's not all that different from another bracelet I wear so I plan to keep it on until it's no longer hanging there.
I still have my Roo wristband on. The colors for the media are maroon, green, light blue, purple and orange. My Rothbury media band came off as soon as I got home. It was a really ugly pink.
Okay I had to sign on just to post in this thread.
Today July 29, 2009 I am cutting my 2008 Bonnaroo band off. I have had it on for 414 days. This year's band is rubbing it shaggy and I want to be able to tell what it is in 20 years.
^ dude that 08 looks rough. 414 is impressive. I think 08 looks was the best but 09 is still strong. i had my 08 on for about 10 months then it fell off. 09 is still on and cut Rothburys off right away cuz it was just ugly and cheap.

I took a picture of them both just like that right when I got the new one this year and it didnt look half as bad. The new one rubbed the 08 one down.
Still got mine on... I bought (aka stole...lol) a cat collar from target and used the plastic pieces to make it adjustable and removable. now i have a little clip on it so i can take it off when it gets too dirty and such. planning on wearing it until next year's roo at which time I will add the bracelet to my little bonnaroo time capsule.

Just took mine off last night! So sad. I didn't think I wanted to keep it on all the way till next year - I stupidly had it on my right hand so it was constantly getting in the way, plus I didn't want it to get ruined by wearing it all year.
But I wanted some sort of meaningful day to take it off on, I didn't want to just do it randomly. I thought about doing it some certain amount of time after 'roo, but then I thought of the anniversary of Woodstock, since this is 40 years. So I went with the 18th - Woodstock was scheduled from the 15th-17th and ran over into the 18th according to Wikipedia. I don't know how much it "ran over" but I figure that sort of makes the 18th the epitome of what is awesome about music fests - the spontaneity and that certain SOMETHING in the air that makes people want to just stay there forever even if the posters said the festival was already over.
So, my wristband is off. SO SAD. I almost couldn't do it - I kept putting it off and finally I was in bed last night and knew it was my last chance to do it without completely missing out on the Woodstock thing, so I finally bit the bullet and pulled it off. I feel so naked without it! I literally just held on to it and curled up in my bed with it for a while before I could actually put it down and go to sleep. Tell me I'm not the only one who gets this pathetic about this kinda thing?!

I took mine off the day after. Thankfully the chick that put it on me put in on very loose so that I could slip it off. My boyfriend however is still rocking the wrist band and has a major tan line where it is.

They put mine on loose. I've taken it off, but I put it back on. I guess I'm cheating haha Unfortunately, after being cool with it for a little while, my boss told me it looked unprofessional. So I take it off for work but wear it on weekends and some evenings
i had to take mine off before coming back to work on tuesday after 'roo, no way that was gonna fly at work, lol. though, the tan line has just recently disappeared. i couldn't believe how much of a tan line it left from just 3 days.
it's still sitting on the shelf over my bed as a reminder of all the great memories.
^Word. I had to leave Friday morning real early to go work then came back to 'Roo. That whole day I had to tuck the slack under the rest of the bracelet to get it out of the way while giving shots or meds through a G-tube. Slid mine off and it is now my keychain!
