The scariest part is that Judge has been playing like doo this series (16 Ks in 24 plate apps), and I can't see that continuing for the next series really.
Touché. I'm hoping that getting through the Astros line up is easier than the Sale made it look.
Game 1 Sale made it look easy Game 4 Sale made it look tougher
Houston does have strengths all around, I would have them as the favorites in the series.
I expect that the Yankees will lose game 1. Keuchel owns them and Tanaka pitches better at home. They're starting him this game to make sure he gets a YS start. If they can beat Verlander they'll have a chance. If they go home 0-2 then I don't see a comeback in the cards.
Hoping for Cubs/Astros because driving down to Houston is much more doable than going up to Chicago for the World Series like I did last year. Although, nothing will top the atmosphere of Wrigleyville during games 4 & 5 last year.

The parade was insane. I'm hoping the Dodgers win (obviously), but if the Cubs win I'm going back up for the parade.

so not fair of you. That parade’s for Cubs fans only!!
astros watch party at ACL was fun last night, left to go to Jay Z after splitting the game with ryan adams. after jay got off stage we started walking to the beer tent for the game at 9:57 and they shut off the tvs at 10 on the dot while a huge crowd of astro/yankee fans were just standing there like wtf in the top of the 8th.
Dammit the Cubs should've pulled the trigger and traded for Verlander instead of Quintana. Q is really good and could potentially be an ace but Verlander is the man.
Big win against Keuchel for the Yanks. Sorry haters (Yeah, that's you LD ) Regardless of the final result this has been an extremely entertaining series.
People are jumping to conclusions everywhere. What makes people think the young Yanks will go on the road and beat the leagues best postseason veteran pitcher tonight? Because they went into Cleveland against Kluber (who imo is overrated) in game 5 of the alds and won? Stros/Yanks series is going to 7 and the Astros will win the AL pennant.

It ain't happening unless the Stros start hitting. 9 runs in 5 games?! If it goes 7 I like the Yankees chances with the deeper bullpen and Sabatthia starting.
7 runs in this one. Still was the #1 offense in MLB this year. Astros seem to be rejuvenated when they play at Minute Maid Park. Should be in store for a great game 7. Sabathia is 10-0 this season coming off a Yanks loss. Altuve is just such a badass, idk if Sabathia can stop him in Houston, and the rest of the team clearly plays with more fire when he makes hits. Altuve vs Sabathia is obviously the key matchup of that game. If it was in the Bronx though, it'd probably be a different story. I'd like to see (future Hall of Famer??) Carlos Beltran have his moment in this post season.
