Are y’all gonna judge me when I have this high on my list for December?
I love U2, warts and all, and I think this album is solid af. The Little Things That Give You Away is my favorite song from this year. (OK, Crumbling Castle is also a jam.) It's a damn shame they didn't play it at Roo.
If you haven't listened to this, and I'm guessing many of you haven't, which is fine: Bono seemingly had a heart attack in the past couple of years and came very close to death. Many of the songs, and probably Little Things above all, are him reconciling with his own death. I'm generally not a lyrics-focused person, but there is some affecting stuff on here.
U2 gets my vote, too. I enjoyed a lot of albums this month, but listened to this one the most. It really grows on you over time and is a fun album to listen to... the first song is my least favorite and “Summer of Love” is my favorite.
HM: BROCKHAMPTON, N.E.R.D., King Gizz, Chris Stapleton, and Miguel.

I love the first track haha. Summer of Love is great.
LD you missed my vote. Probably because the link is broken from the post I quoted.
