Lots of pretty decent stuff for me this month, I'll have to do some listening this week to try to pick a favorite. I really liked Teen Daze, Dirty Projectors, Sampha, Hippo Campus, and The Orwells.

I know its early but I'm not sure where to put this.
Is anyone else wildly disappointed in the new Father John Misty? Every single track has a tempo that can be described as achingly slow or at best "swaying".
I loved his last album so much, but this one is a total chore to get through.

I listened once and really liked it.
Someone point me out what to listen to. I've heard Ryan Adams, Strand Of Oaks, All Them Witches, King Gizzard, Dirty Projectors, Crystal Fairy, Orwells, Sampha, Tinriwen, Sinkane. I can't pick one yet.

Yeah. It was a reach for you, but I figured it needed to be mentioned for completeness sake.
I think he's one of those obviously talented but doesn't make great songs kind of artists. I'm about half way through it about to stop it and start the new Temples.
Only about halfway through Thundercat, but I think it's safe to say Prisoner will be one of my favorite albums of the year. Sampha was better than everything in January though.

Syd. Not as strong as Ego Death, but it's still really good

Knowing the little I know about you, you should definitely check out Vagabon.

That's funny, because I was already listening to it when you posted this. First listen and I do like it.
I just noped out fast on Pissed Jeans and Xiu Xiu (but I'm listening to their Twin Peaks album now). I liked Tim Darcy. Still not sure what I'm going to vote for. Ryan Adams might end up being the default. I need to listen to Strand Of Oaks again.
