Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
BTW, I am betting Panic! at the Disco will be part of it this year (because Brendon Urie is an ambassador of a climate group partnering with GC this year, although the irony is there too).

I went the first 3 years, but it's just an absolute nightmare. It takes 3 hours to get through the gate, you'll probably have a shitty spot, the lines for the bathrooms are absurd, and there's no alcohol sold.
Assuming I get on the flight, I'll be in NYC 27+28. I've done all the tourtisty stuff but I've never been without parents so if anyone has reccs for fun stuff, pls lmk. Me and my gf are underage so no bars (unless they're lenient lol).
We're planning to do a Broadway show, Chinatown and Central Park but want something for the night time that won't break the bank so recommended shows/venues would help a lot. Thanks!
If you have nothing else to do and want some laughs I'm playing my last hockey game of the season Sunday 7pm in long island city right off the 7 train. Free admission and we are so bad it should be funny

TMZ is trash and they're playing up this angle for clicks. While I wouldn't doubt that there's some racial bias going on here the fact is they are two different cases (one with video evidence and one without) and the way they portray him as "rotting away" in Swedish jail makes me want to see what his conditions are really like. Basically fuck TMZ as a source.
As I mentioned, it's entirely possible that this is a case of racial bias/white privilege in action. I just don't like or trust TMZ for factual news and it seems clear they are going for a specific narrative. G-Eazy snorted coke and punched a security guard with no video evidence. While the A$AP Rocky story has the person who TMZ alleges attacked first is saying he was acting in self defense when a bodyguard got physical with him:
The man involved in an altercation with A$AP Rocky that led to the rapper’s arrest and detainment in a Swedish jail will not be charged after he was “suspected of molestation and assault,” Swedish prosecutors announced Monday.
Since the beginning of July, A$AP Rocky and two associates have been held in a Swedish jail after turning themselves in for suspected “gross assault” after allegedly throwing a man across a street in Stockholm late last month. Along with investigating the rapper, the Swedish Prosecution Authority also launched a preliminary investigation into two men who had been following Rocky prior to the incident. A$AP Rocky posted two videos on Instagram of the men allegedly following him, including footage of one of them hitting Rocky’s security with what appeared to be a pair of headphones.
The Swedish Prosecution Authority, however, determined that the man who allegedly threw the headphones was acting in self-defense after A$AP Rocky’s bodyguard allegedly accosted him first. But as TMZ noted, the video of the altercation between Rocky’s bodyguard and the two men does not offer a clear view of how the altercation started, including whether or not the bodyguard pushed him or lifted him up by the throat. And, curiously, Swedish authorities already decided not to detain or charge Rocky’s bodyguard after he was initially arrested.
The official statement from Senior Public Prosecutor Daniel Suneson reads (in what appears to be translated text), “The person who filed the counter-notice repeatedly asks the other person to leave. When he refuses to leave, the other person first pushes him away and then takes a grip around the other person’s neck and lifts him away a few meters. In this situation, the person throws his headphones on the notifier, and tries to hand out battles, which may be considered as right to self-defense.”
A representative for A$AP Rocky did not immediately return a request for comment.
So yeah....it's an iffy case and may be an example of white privilege for sure. But citing TMZ and acting like it's "case closed" is not something I feel comfortable doing. I also dislike when people point to two different situations but compare them as exactly the same.

The point of the TMZ article was to show what G-Eazy himself said about the situation. "Facts. This is the sad truth...The difference between me and Rocky’s treatment and process in Sweden brings to mind two concepts that disgustingly go hand in hand: white privilege and systemic racism. Let's call it what it is. He should not be behind bars right now. My heart goes out to my brother @asaprocky and his team. We're riding for yall." I don't think there's anything not factual in the article either. It's obviously played up for clicks. But I don't see anything incorrect. G-Eazy was found with 1.5 ounces of cocaine and assaulted a security guard. But with no video of the assault, that really makes the difference between paying 9,000$ and leaving a day later vs being held in jail for weeks potentially facing six years in prison? That just doesn't seem right.
Rocky doesn't really seem like the aggressor. There's no evidence of who threw the first punches or anything. But the other guys who were harassing them and supposedly grabbing random girl's asses will not be charged.

TMZ is trash. One case is not the same as another case. I'm sure there's some aspects of bias/privilege involved and the race factor shouldn't be ignored. I just think TMZ is shitty for portraying "these two incidents are the same" (one involved one person attacking a guard, this one involves multiple people fighting) and using one or two tweets to support it. I hate a lot of clickbait sites/articles.

Yeah I think what G-Eazy did was arguably worse and he was treated a lot better. He even acknowledges it himself which is kind of the whole point. My first post wasn't really about TMZ. I already knew about both cases and TMZ was the first thing on Google talking about it. I don't read TMZ in my free time
Not my cup of tea but that Rolling Loud show is gonna do well ticket-sales wise. Is this in the stadium proper or in the parking lot like the Meadows was?

Given the amount of acts, it’ll probably be in the parking lot.

TMZ has a particularly unsavory beat but they have pretty high standards for when they're willing to run with something. They won't report something if they're not sure of it.
Regardless, don't think it should bear on the situation here. We definitely don't have all the facts but the institutional priorities between G-Eazy's case and A$AP's seem pretty different at the least.
the way they portray him as "rotting away" in Swedish jail makes me want to see what his conditions are really like
I am pretty interested in this part too, especially because Nordic jails are known for being much closer to looking like American College dorms in style than the American style jails.
At the Broken Social Scene freebie at Celebrate Brooklyn... again the frenzy for indie freebies ain't what they used to be, still many seats and uncrowded 50 minutes after doors.

King Princess doing 2 nights at Terminal 5 in the fall. Had no idea she was that big.
same, Lil Uzi got moved around at ACL and he got put underneath her, pretty surprised.
She had a huge crowd at Gov Ball and the first night sold out quickly so I guess it makes sense. Wild that someone who only has a total of 5-6 songs released is able to do 2 nights there.
