EDIT: The foolish and wicked practice of profane cursing and swearing is a vice so mean and low that every person of sense and character detests and despises it.
George Washington
You can't even research a quote accurately.
"“The General is sorry to be informed that the foolish, and wicked practice, of profane cursing and swearing (a Vice heretofore little known in an American Army) is growing into fashion; he hopes the officers will, by example, as well as influence, endeavour to check it, and that both they, and the men will reflect, that we can have little hopes of the blessing of Heaven on our Arms, if we insult it by our impiety, and folly; added to this, it is a vice so mean and low, without any temptation, that every man of sense, and character, detests and despises it."
George Washington is saying that if you curse you might not get into heaven. I cringe to think what he would say about premarital intercourse.
Yes, I shortened the quote without changing it's meaning. Go back to the kids table and let the adults talk.

I do my own research. However, I was not the one trying to prove a point. Which they did not was my only retort.
No, you clearly do not. You are a moralist when it serves you. In other words, you're all talk.
1. You have no idea what research I have done or if there is even a Target near me to make this a shopping option.
2. I'm not a moralist. Again, I state my opinions or views.
3. You still have not made your point with a story that is 7 years old and once again have resorted to throw long labels or names around. You should change your nickname to "the distraction". As in "I'd like to distract you from noticing I never clearly made my point or showed any data to substantiate my claims."
PS: Still working on a suitable profile pic change. I'll get back to you on that.
4 random unidentifiable stories with the latest being Fall of 2011? Please at least provide current relevant fodder.
Ah do your own research, it's all over the place. They're the same thing, only Wal-Mart is much bigger so they're an easier target. Also, Wal-Mart has all that white trash LD doesn't want to shop with, so it's cooler to be down on Wal-Mart.

Only evil companies keep their profits. Most of them give them away in raffles, which is nice of them.
Let's say for example a company makes 10 million in profits in a year, and there's 1k employees. The company can still make a profit yet flip a couple grand extra to each of its employees.
I'm not against making a profit, I just want the average worker to get a bigger share of the pie too. Who the Quack makes a living at/near minimum wage?
There's nothing wrong with caring about how people you don't know in your community are treated. Go bury your head in the sand, I suppose.
You're such an assh*le. So you never shop on Amazon either? You track down where every single mass produced product you own is made and personally inspect the working conditions? You really think your bullsh't stance about Wal Mart is even newsworthy? We should all be proud of you cause you're telling us sh't we don't know?
Listen, no one here likes your moralizing. Half of us tell you to f*ck off to your face and the other half want to but don't like Internet conflict so resist. But for some reason you like to post here anyway, so here's a proposal for us all to live in peace. When ever you feel like being better than the rest of us, carve that idea on to a large peice of wood instead. When that piece of wood is filled with your brilliant ideas, shove is up your ass.
I have opinions. You have an ignore button.
I'm not better. I'm different. But you are hateful.
But telling people to "shut up" or calling them "idiots" is acceptable behavior?
EDIT: Never mind. I didn't recognize you because you changed your screen name. It all makes sense now. We can go back to ignoring each other now.
I don't tell people to do that, I just tell you to. As long as you're trying to position yourself as the moral authority of the board, I'll be there to tell you to go f*ck off.
We are on a message board. And I state my honest opinions. If there is a reasonable discussion I move forward with conversation. But when someone resorts to name calling or cursing I realize they have lost their wit. And then I lose interest.

The next idiot that tells me or anyone else that they're "burying their head in the sand" or "blind" or whatever cliche'd bullsh*t phrase you want to use, simply because we don't agree 100% with their half-assed moral stand gets put in timeout.

I don't shop at Wal-Mart. I can't support a store that virtually enslaves it's employees.
Then you probably need to make some changes regarding nearly everything you buy.
Wal-Mart isn't the only company that does this. And chances are buy buying anything from a new TV to a CD or whatever has some type of ethical dilemma attached to it somewhere in it's production chain.
It's kind of like saying "I don't like factory farms that commit animal cruelty, so I'm no longer eating at McDonalds." and then you go across the street to Burger King or Wendy's or whatever.
It's actually easier than you think. How often are you really buying a television? It just takes a little research.
And produce can be grown in your own yard or bought locally.
And agreed on the fast food example. I haven't vices but that is not one of them.
It always irritates me slightly when someone bagging my groceries wastes a whole sack on one or two items or if I'm buying a single item that is bagged and they feel I need another bag for that one item.
I haaaate it as well, but it's the "rules" so it's what they're told to do. If I have to go through a regular line I tell them to pack things heavy and not to worry about separating things.
You could always bring canvas reusable sacks for groceries.
That's one of those karma things either way it goes.
Closest I have done is send a parking pass to someone. We were supposed to meet and I was to be provided a 6 pack of craft brew from her area. That didn't happen.
But I would still send it again without hesitation.
If you don't know if you are still drunk, are you? That sounds dumb but I haven't had anything since yesterday morning..... I need to get out more cr****
Depends. Were you starting or ending drinking yesterday morning?
I'm kind of shocked I haven't checked out RHCP I've been at three fests they've headlined. I checked out something else at Roo and left both of the others early on the night they played.
I'm slightly biased since I first saw them at Lollapalooza '92 but I do find them entertaining.
