Every night for the past week, the babies have slept for 10 hours straight. Sure, I wake up still at 12, 2, and 4, but I get to go back to sleep. I just realized today that the bags under my eyes are gone and I feel well rested. I think the all night roller coaster is finally coming to an end and I couldn't be happier.
That was one of the greatest days of my life. The infants sleep cycle turned me from a deep, sleep through a tornado type person into a wake up alert at the drop of a hat though, and I haven't been able to read just fully.
my absolute favorite restaurant here has been closed for what feels like forever, because they're moving to a different part of the city. rumor has it, THEY MAY FINALLY BE OPEN! their social media presence is terrible, and they haven't given much information over the past year and a half, so no one really knew when they were going to open again. i've had actual dreams of this food, and i want to take sick time tomorrow to go eat all of it.

DUDE. I am regularly shocked by how bad restaurant's and bar's social media presence is- or even how little they update their websites. I often go on to find happy hour specials, regular specials, what entertainment they are having that night, if they are closed for the snow... nothing.

i did my taxes today!! After I pay off my few tiny bills, my vip tickets will be purchased this month and then I can start buying roo supplies as needed. I AM SO EXCITED!!!

It surprises me in general when a business has a poor social media presence. It seems so easy to at least do the basics.
After a 17 year break, today I started back doing what I went to school for. I am volunteering at an after-school program for underprivileged kids. I will be leading their Google CS Drive program, and I am super excited about it.

So excited for you, lady. If it involves helping others, you're going to be great at it. As someone who took a while to get into something related to what he went to school for, I can tell you that getting into your field is a wonderful feeling.
The theater where I work has the most outlandishly produced version of A Midsummer Night's Dream I've ever seen's opening night tonight. There have been several previews this week, all of which I've worked, but tonight is opening night. For every main-stage production they have, they have an opening night party for the cast, crew, staff (me), etc. This means as much food as you can eat and as much beer you can drink. OH and it's all free. AND I get to bring a friend. I'm gonna get druuuunk. I'm also probably gonna try to hit on several of the pretty ladies. Drunk me is super flirty.
