Woooo! Secured a ride to Confest for belated birthday shenannigans over Easter long weekend!

What's Confest? A buncha beautiful dirty naked hippies dancing in the mud to all-acoustic music for a week straight. It's short for conference festival, so I can make it sound like I'm off to some important business expo. (NSFW, because of the aforementioned beautiful dirty naked hippies)

I get up this morning to find that the lady friend got me four large bottles of beer and tickets to a beer festival in Knoxville at the beginning of May. Birthday victory!
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
I just walked outside for about an hour with only a 5 minute rest break and no assistance! I took two percocets beforehand and feel a little sore, but overall not bad! I'm very proud of myself.

My company decided to set me up with a note 4, I spent all last night filling it with music from the farm for this summer. 12 gigs down and still Adding :-)
MY BEST FRIEND HAD HER BABY THIS MORNING!!!!!! I'm like officially unofficially an aunt!!!!!! Little baby Elle Marie was born at 4:08am & weighed 7lbs 3oz. I'm still waiting on people to get their shit together and get some damn pictures. I've never been so excited for a friend having a baby. This is a sign of true BFFs. <3 <3 <3
Ok, so I follow a group on Facebook for hoopers and I posted something the other day about feeling down because I can't hoop for who knows how long because of my surgery. One of the girls suggested I play with minis until I can move my whole body more again. I said I didn't have any but have been intrigued by them. So she PM'd me and said that she had a set she never uses and was going to sell, but if I wanted she'd give them to me for free. I took her up on it and today I came home for the first time in a week and found a package with two beautiful transparent pink mini hoops at my front door!!!! People are so kind. And my recklessness of giving random internet people my address has paid off 3 times now!!!
Oh! And the added yay of the fact that I'm in my own house now! Thank god!! I can't stand my step dad.
I plan to spend the rest of my night enjoying beer and eating tacos because I can sleep the day away tomorrow, YAY!! On the books for tomorrow; sleep, Netflix, and maybe a nap or two. The inner lazy person in me is delighted.

Lined up for a promotion this month and have really hit it off with my senior managers and department director this week. At the very least I wont have to worry about having a job/income anytime soon.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
Had a successful first camping trip with the toddler. It was exhausting and between her and the dog I was constantly telling someone not to wander off. But she loved it, everyone had a good time. We got some nice weather, made apple s'mores, took a short hike, and I even managed to get a nap in the hammock. I used to go camping/backpacking all the time, but just sorta stopped as I got busier and the baby came along. Now that this first hurdle is passed I'm hoping to get back into it more and take some trips over the summer.
