My sister just got drafted to play soccer for FC Kansas City! She was hurt for a significant portion of her last two years in college so we were worried she may not get drafted at all. This is a very, very, VERY exciting day.

I got a job! A real job! In the private sector!! Doing stuff I studied! For money (and BENEFITS)! Money that doesn't run out! (Looking at you, previous part-time temporary public sector job)
I finished my bachelor's in December 2012. I went to grad school the following year because I couldn't get any interviews. I finished a master's in December 2014. Then shit got really real because I'd doubled my loan and still couldn't get interviews... that led to anything, anyway.
But now it's all over! I can pay my bills! I CAN PAY MY BILLS. I can help people when they need it! I can make PLANS! I CAN BUY NEW PANTS.
I know many on here are still in the boat I just got out of. KEEP TRYING. Improve your skills in whatever ways you can. Make yourself extra interesting in interviews by volunteering for a cause you like and sharing about that. Most of all, never give up!

Was invited to the Nursing honor society this week AND just got a text that I can have Sunday off if I want. I HATE working weekends so this is a super yay!!!
