The lady friend had scheduled a trip back this weekend a few weeks ago. In the interim, she found out that her boss was pushing to go ahead and move her back to Knoxville as the contract winds down. She just found out that, instead of coming back this weekend for a visit, her time in California will be coming to an end after 286 days!!!! Needless to say, this weekend is gonna get wild with the celebrations.

My very awesome little brother just texted me to let me pick out my birthday and Christmas presents for last year! He cross-stitched all of these without patterns. He just finds pictures that he wants to do (sometimes of a cross-stitched thing and sometimes just pictures) and figures them out.

My mom told me yesterday that my grandma has finally accepted that my cousin is using and abusing her. She wants to sue her, which is a huge yay, but we're not letting her because cousin has nothing to sue for. It would be a waste of money. Just the fact that she's had enough and is ready to put up a fight is a huge yay!

Lost my job almost 2 months ago...right after I got my CPA...what?! Long story. But after a good long search, i have finally found and accepted a position at a place that I'm excited to be, and out of public accounting hours. HOOAH! (And i even managed to get more money!)
after a month and a half of waiting for my tax refund (thanks h&r block!), i just finally paid off my car! i own a single thing! also, while i'm here, i'll share with everyone who isn't my friend on social media. a few weeks ago during a wonderful trip to new york, my boyfriend asked me to marry him. i've never been in a rush, but after ten years of love, it's a pretty exciting time.
Went swimming and soaked in a hot tub today for the first time in awhile and it felt great. This FL native needs his regular water immersion sessions that are non-shower related.
a job opportunity has presented itself which will be a 2 level promotion and a huge career move. It would require moving however. Soft pitched it to my daughter last night (who was very very opposed to ever leaving this area 6 months ago) I expected a flat out no followed by waterworks. Instead I got "Sounds like a fun adventure. I would be ok with it" Talk about a weight lifted off my shoulder. Now I can apply with zero guilt

I have just sent all the paperwork off to get pre-approved and put an offer in on a house. My landlord has been crazier since she decided to sell, and this is officially the first step to getting out from the tyranny of the crazy bitch. Now just for the pre-approval to go through and the homeowner to accept my offer. I can't believe I am so excited about sending in paperwork.
