I think I get to stay afterwards for the festival... I'm working with the people who did the post office the last couple years, not entirely sure what we'll be doing... but I'm so super excited. working on the post office last year was awesome, and this year I get to do it without it being run through the volunteer program clusterquack...
I'll be down there June 4th or 5th, and you can follow me on twitter then, and I will be posting stuff while/if I can...

YAY that I'm finally feeling better. Been feeling rough for a week (including my birthday) and discovered this week I've had an ear infection. It seems to be clearing up now, so I can actually enjoy the weekend instead of sleeping constantly.
YAY(I think) for the language filter on here. I just spilled my coffee on my notebook at work and said "Mother Quacker" out loud. A few moments after spilling my coffee and being a little upset about it, I realized what I said, it put a nice big smile on my face and thought I should share everyone.

glad you're feeling better. I've been under the weather too with a sinus infection - first day this week I've felt human. Ive been slogging through work but that's about it. Have been lurking a lot on inforoo but have kept my mouth and keyboard silent for most of week.
I actually thought I was going to deliver a baby through my left eye yesterday, it hurt so bad...lol...after 11 hours sleep and lots of meds I think I've turned the corner.

Jenny is pregnant, due early July (she's naming her baby girl after Hannah)
Mindy and Steve are getting married May 15
Bethan is pregnant with twins, due early October
Jaime is pregnant, due in August

Did you know that Lindsay and Michael are getting married Saturday? I have to take pics for them.
Yes, that's AMAZING. Via Facebook I saw that she severely sprained her ankle. That should be interesting walking down the aisle. I'm so happy that Q's Mom and Dad are going to end up together.
Mindy is stressing about the wedding. Beach wedding in the panhandle of Florida. Oil slick imminent it appears.
I just stumbled upon this thread & I love it! I'm really enjoying reading all this positive goodness, so i thought I'd contribute... YAY! Today is my anniversary - My boyfriend & I have been together 3 years now!! ;D Aaaaand! We got a VW camper as a gift to ourselves - yay!!

LOL. I wonder if she did that at her party the other night.
Really, I haven't heard anything about the oil slick hitting the panhandle. We're leaving for Hangout next Wednesday and they don't think it's going to wash ashore in Gulf Shores.

YAY for my oldest daughter getting straight As this semester including biochem and epidemiology. AND shes going skydiving for the first time tomorrow. I feel so blessed to have such amazing kids! (and they're fun too!)
Yay for the still-no-oil-impact-on-the-beaches-we-will-be-on-in-a-week! Yay for getting a new Flip HD video camera to film some festival action this summer! Yay for everything awesome and good!

Also, I just posted this as my facebook status and thought that it actually should be going here.

YAY that it's finally the weekend! Tomorrow I will volunteer for flood clean-up instead of sitting behind a desk. It's been really difficult to sit at work all week knowing there is all sorts of stuff I could be out doing in the Nashville community. Now I get my chance to help!
