Yay for a new lady friend. She is exactly what I have been looking for. She's 25, a therapist, extremely intelligent,hilarious, beautiful, she sees as many shows as I do, if not more. I've never had more in common with a female before. wow. So easy to be with her.
If I see any of you at a festie this summer, I'll introduce her to you.
I was hunting around for something on my dresser yesterday and I found something I haven't seen for 5 years, and that I'd long since chalked up to being lost. That'd be cool in and of itself, but the item I was missing is irreplaceable and has a lot of historical significance. YAY!

Three months ago, we let our friend move in to our apartment until he could get back on his feet (he got fired and then divorced). It has been the longest three months of my life. This morning, he moved out! And he gave us $300 before he left! So, yay for being roommate free!
And I got my new glasses in the mail last night, and they don't look terrible, and the prescription is just right, and I got two complete pairs of glasses for $22! So, yay for Zenni Optical!
And it's Friday, and I only have 2 hours and 15 minutes to go. So yay for the weekend!
Well since this thread is back at the top, Yay for getting my annual bonus today and it being much larger than expected. Also I was told that my raise will be very good this year!

YAY for being off work to enjoy some daylight (but I'm sitting here instead...oops) AND for the snow we were 'blessed' with last night melting little by little!!!
Hear in chicago we might have a few more. We usually have a two week span of great weather then boom snow out of no where then cold for a week then its usually over

Where are you from? We had rain ALL day yesterday until about 4 p.m. and then it sleeted for ten minutes and started snowing right after that. Almost all the snow from the storm three weeks ago was melted until last night.

YAY JUNE WILL BE HERE REALLY FAST!!!
upstate new york - we had rain all day yesterday TOO and then snow starting this morning. it hasn't snowed much since about 2 but there is a ton on the ground.
It's finally time for my biggest YAY yet: I got my bonus check at work!!! Which is a HUGE deal for this poor little lady. I've worked here for 4.5 years and this is my first full bonus check... seems our economy is finally on the upswing.
And even better, I put half into savings and half to pay down debt. YAY!
I'll be there 3 weeks with side trips to Amsterdam ;D and Brussels.
