Seee - I like scary movies if they are purely fantasy type stuff - I cannot watch halloween because that crap could really happen - but Boz loves stuff like that
OMG... that movie is soooo freaky. He'll love it. It's not for the squeemish, it's BRUTAL!
BTW... laughing and thinking are also good

I don't think so - but as soon as he could - he went and bought Rob Zombie's remake of Halloween - and has tried and tried to get me to watch the Saw movies with him (nope - no thanks) and has the other two Rob Zombie movies also

^^
It's the opposite in my house - I love the Saw movies and most horror movies but my fiance refuses to watch anything like that. Luckily my teenage daughter shares my love of horror so I have a movie watching partner in crime

Save your money....or better yet see Juno or There will be Blood
A) The alien/monster thing was pretty standard looking and still had the cgi look. It was better than godzilla.
B) The gimmick with the handheld (ala blair witch) camera gets old real quick, and I think it made me sick...like sea sick....no really ..other people said they felt weird afterwards.
C) The storyline is boring, the character development is weak at best, the ending is ridiculous.

I, for one, loved it. The star of the movie is not the monster, but the fact that it creates that "I don't know what the hell is happening here" anxiety. It plays like a nightmare coming to life, and I totally recommend it to everyone. Great flick.

I would have to agree. I thought it was awesome. I hate horror flicks, but this is not like that at all. Some people complain of the shaky camera stuff, but I didn't think it was bad. The movie is only an hour and 25 mins so it's not like they torture you with it. It's the first movie I can remember, in, I don't know how long, that really felt like a ride. It's one that has to be seen on the big screen, IMO.
