i def miscalled the usc game but kansas st looks like a solid team...i doubt they'll get past 2nd round but hey nobody though george mason would a couple years ago. maybe this year's cinderella?
God what a crazy day ..... the day started off headed dowhill when the dawgs went down early this afternoon (Im just glad we made it...the sec tournament was sick). Belmont almost pulled through too. Oh well time to sleep and start all over again tomorrow!

Yeah, that's what I thought! Never count the Spartans out in March. They're now 5-0 under Izzo when it comes to 5 Vs 12 match ups. The Spartans have a deep talented bench and great veteran leadership with Neitzel and a hell of a pair of up and coming talents in Raymar Morgan and Kalin Lucas. The Spartans were number 5 when they reached the final four in 2005, and I am hoping they ride a bit of a hot streak (a really bad call cost them a chance at the Big Ten tourney) all the way to the dance.
If they were in the Mid-West regional, I'd be heading to Detroit to cheer on 'em on in a week or so.

i'm so pissed! i had k-state over usc originally, and decided against it. its my only wrong pick so far. gah!
Yeah...I wasn't in love with USC either, but I just couldn't see how a Tim Floyd coached team could lose to a team that plays as dumb as K State does. I don't expect Wisconsin to make the same mistakes...

not a chance. beasley was the only reason i was going to pick kstate over usc. i thought he'd step it up, but then figured it wouldn't be enough.
