They aren't going to suprise me... I know they're strong. I was at the Vandy game last night - amazing game - but it's pretty obvious to me that Miss St. is damn good. I'd hate to be matched up against them in the NCAAs...

as for my aggies, we lost to kansas. expected, but we sure didn't go down swinging. i'm sure we'll be an extremely low seed and be knocked out in the first round

And illegal - a shot that goes over the backboard should be ruled out of bounds. I was really dissapointed with how that UCLA game ended - I felt like the refs really handed it to em, first with the foul no-call and then that final shot.

the no-call i felt was ok. its absolutely horrid when a game is decided by a questionable call, and i'm not so sure it was a blatant foul(i could be wrong).
as for the backboard shot...i was wondering about that too. however, he wasn't out of bounds, and it didn't actually touch the backboard. is there already a rule in place that says you can't make that shot? i know if it bounces over the back of the backboard its blown dead, but if he's not out of bounds, and he doesn't hit the backboard...i dunno
That shot WAS illegal, but it was hella cool! If I were a Cal fan I would be extremely upset. UCLA has had back to back games with questionable calls. I would not want to play them in CA. Hopefully, my Tigers will be playing closer to home! Go Memphis! I've also got my fingers crossed that either UAB or Houston gets to dance.
'Horns take a share of Big 12. I feel like they're in a precarious situation though. lower seeds can look at the Missouri and Tech losses and feel absolutely confident that they can beat Texas. But then Tennessee, Kansas and UCLA all know that Texas can pretty much beat anyone in the tournament. They're going to be the 2 or 3 seed no 1 seed wants to draw in their bracket but the top seed that all the lower seeds will be hoping for. Fairly strange...
