Totally pumped! I've watched this show religiously since the first episode aired. I can't believe its been 11 years and we're now in the 12th season. Man am I getting old.
This show, Jerry Springer, the monday night wrestling wars... gotta love the "crash tv" boom of that period... and South Park is still going strong... amazing, I didn't think they'd have this type of shelf life. The last few seasons have been rather hit or miss, for me... some of the episodes have been classics (which is the case, mostly) but over that last few years, I've seen more and more crappy, formulaic, and generally predictable shows than they've ever put out. But that's bound to happen, once a show's been on the air for so long, but they're still among the few shows that I watch regularly.
Watching the Simpsons these days makes me feel like I'm watching an elderly loved one whose pants have fallen down around his ankles to reveal his adult diaper. It's cringe worthy...
oh thanks for reminding me. And ditto on the simpsons comments, though I still really like the simpsons. I think I've been watching that show since I could watch TV, I remember my bedtime being after it was over at night when I was younger. And it's pretty amazing south park has been corrupting me since I was 7!

I think they could do a better job writing if they didn't try to be so instantly topical. It'd give them more time for editing. That being said, it's still "good as hell"(SquidBillies reference ).
And I'll still catch the Simpsons as a way to wrap up the weekend. But I no longer dedicate the Sunday 8pm slot to be in front of the tv like I used to.
I remember(to really start feeling old) when FOX first started as a cable channel and we had to go to the bars on Thursdays to catch a new Simpsons, being poor college students with $ for either cable OR partying !
When is the showing thats not the one at 12 tonite? my roommate is too obsessed with his 6 seasons of scrubs(that hes seen all of) to let me watch south park...

It was mostly depressing, Britney Spears is still useless though, but its america's fault to perpetuate her uselessness. I thought the HIV was pretty good, not great, but i had a few laughs. The only funny part tonight imo was the singing, and the hannah montana part at the end.
I was sitting here thinking about how South Parks not as good, so I went to Jumptheshark.com, and to my surprise, it's widely believed that the show never jumped...
I can't put my finger on if or when South Park did, but it's definitely no where near as good as it was about 5 or 6 years ago.
