A match took place last week on TNA's Lockdown PPV. Samoa Joe vs. Kurt Angle in a cage, strong/japanese/MMA style match.
It's a bit polarizing in reception; some think it's awful, because it was an MMA style match, earlier on, and had a much slower pace, especially for a mainstream American PPV main event.
Others, like myself, thought it was very good. It was a unique style for current wrestling, and superbly executed. The match was the first match TNA's done, imo, that has had any sort of a "big-match" feeling.
