I went to Florida for a wedding this weekend and got to sample some new brews there. I really liked Seventh Sun's stuff. They had a fruity quad that was really good. Dunedin Brewery had some good stuff too. Their Biere De Cafe was basically a thick, boozy cup of coffee in a glass.
Also of note, the trip was for a wedding. Overall the wedding was pretty poorly run BUT... they had Dogfish 60 Minute IPA and Fat Tire kegs. The Fat Tire held out for the whole wedding so I never had to switch to something gross. So that was nice.

But Fat Tire is gross.
That's a fair point.
I would argue Fat Tire is a fine beer to have after you've had three beers. I'd never choose it out of a lineup but I was thankful to have it available at this wedding so I didn't have to switch to Yeungling.

You leave Yuengling out of this!
I will say this about Yeungling... it's better than some other beers.

Also I went a little crazy at the beer store tonight. I got a Southern Tier Grand Arbor, a Three Taverns Free Spirit, a Three Taverns Heavy Bells, an Allagash Curiex and a 2013 Goose Island Lolita.
I went in there because I am participating in a secret-santa-style beer trade through the Untappd subreddit and had to get a few bottles to send to my guy. He's getting a Three Taverns Heavy Bells and a Burnt Hickory Cannon Dragger.
I'll be stoppin' by my local shop tomorrow when they'll have a whole bunch of brews from Wicked Weed on tap. I'll have to pick up some new bottles too. 'Bout to run out of my 'fridge beer tonight when I open up Great Divide's Espresso Oak Aged Yeti, Fullsteam's Coffee Pecan Porter, and DuClaw's Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout.

Today is the last day of AZ beer week. Had a four peaks odelay that was delicious. It was marketed as a "mexican stout." 8% and like 20 IBU. Way less stouty than most stouts. Tasted more like a heavy black lager than a stout (I'm not a stout guy, and I drank 2 after the sample). 4peaks has become the "generic" craft in phx because its been around longest and has (unwarranted, IMO) the most popularity. But of was a great beer. Glad they are experimenting with new stuff.
The Narragansett/Autocrat stout has been a personal favorite of mine, but I've also been having a bunch of the Wachusett milk stout lately too. It's not great, but it's not bad - worth a try.

BeerAdvocate gave the Back East Porter a fairly good rating in this month's issue, so I went looking at a couple package stores for it. Didn't find it.
I did see a four pack of Sixpoint Crisp tallboys... best before March 2013. No bueno.
I was up in northern VT a couple of weeks ago and grabbed a case of Heady Topper... Expensive, but so damn good. I just wish it was available outside of northern VT. From what I understand is it is because it is unpasteurized and has to stay cold, but don't quote me on that. Anyone else tried it?

Pretty sure it was Cokes who got it right before Roo last year, and even brought some down to the farm.

I think the only reason Heady is distributed in VT is because The Alchemist can't make enough to send anywhere else.
Regardless, I'm super jealous you got to have some. I've got an uncle in New Hampshire. I think I'm gonna have to visit him around Heady time next year.

I would also really like to trade for basically anything from Wisconsin. I can send stuff available in the South.
