I had to come somewhere and voice my opinion on the new Bud Light bottle design. Now I have been an avid Bud Light drinker and supporter in every way, shape and form every since my inception into the world of drinking. Now, I feel embarassed walking into a party with a twelver thats decorated with a bright-blue, very un-manly design. I use the word decorated because that's what it looks like they tried to do: decorate it. Make it look 'pretty'. I no longer feel as cool as I did while drinking Bud Light in past ages. It's as if my girlfriend just put on 500 lbs. ....Bud Light, this may be the last time we see each other...Cheers, everyone..
Well, im glad something got you to stop drink that horse piss they sell as beer. Honestly the worst beer made. There is so much out there when it comes to beer. Bud Light is on the bottom on the list. Any list. It doesnt even make a list.
The stars are dancin' on the water here tonight It's gonna fall a soul when there's not a soul in sight This boat has caught its wind and brought me back to life now I'm alive and well
It's Up!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally! I go to this beer/wine tasting event in the beautiful mountains of Floyd,Va. It's called The Floyd Fandango and the breweries are always top notch.
*Blacksnake Meadery *Blue Mountain Brewery *Brooklyn Brewery *Dogfish Head *Foothills Brewery *Magic Hat *River Company Brewing *Rouge *Sierra Nevada *St. George *Starr Hill *Stone Brewery
They always add a few more like Troegs and Appalachian Brewing Company. For $50 bucks that includes camping ... I can't stress a better way to spend 4th of July weekend ( well unless you are going to Rothbury.)
Oh there is music. JJ Grey & Mofro and Buckwheat Zydeco are the notables with alot of good names from the region rounding it out.
oh yeah and unless youre a 17 yr old high school girl, why you drinking bud light?
Because I want to get wrecked. If I'm going to have a couple of beers, then I'll have some type of heady brew. I tend to lean more towards the IPAs, something hoppy.
If I'm trying to get hammered, I'm gonna drink some bud light. Too many heady beers make me all tired (or that could be the corn). "It doesn't even taste like beer" you may say. Well its not the taste I'm after, its the effect.

^^Thank you...Im not sure I can make this explanation better myself.
Look what i found 3 stray bottles of on Friday!!!!!!!!!!!
You are my effin hero,Mike.
About once a week, i think about this beer, and wish i can drink it. I didnt think id be able to taste it again until fall, and i was sad. When i saw those three bottles sitting there, it was one of those moments where i heard angels sing, and bright heavenly lights. I drank the first one in about 3 minutes, then the second one. Im saving the third for another day, perhaps in the summer.
Drank a bottle of this the other night at the bar.....damn good
i passed this over probably 5+ times till this comment, thanks!
This is an awesome beer, the guy at the liquor store told me its great mixed with chocolate stout. They sell it here in singles for $4.50 a bottle but its totally worth it to me =) Love it!
and Candyflipped you should try the Hoegaarden mixed with a blueberry ale...
Don't know yet if it's going to be any good or not, but we got just got one of these:
It's a good one for sure. Not my favorite of their Zappa line, but a tasty brew if you like hops flavor and belgian Trippels. It's a shame Lagunitas won't be continuing the Zappa thing any longer.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
These guys do nothing but wonderful things with beer. I took the tour of the brewery a few months ago, bought the recipe book written by Sam Calagione and have 3 batches going at the moment.
Anyway, Thursday they are "Simul-Casking" their 75 minute IPA in Boston, New York and Philly. If you live near one of these bars and like beer it should be a good time.
