Oh noes!!! Not the Fray?!?!? Man if ever there was one band I was ashamed of kinda liking it is the Fray... I don't listen to them on a regular basis but I've been known to hum along to a few songs....man I can't believe I just admited that....
Edit I would go see Pres. of the U.S.A without shame.

i would totally see some pres. of the u.s.
i am not ashamed of any shows i have seen including vanilla ice.
last year i saw inner circle cause they opened for slightly stoopid. we were joking if they would just play bad boys for 45 minutes. boy were we wrong. they were bad ass. awesome stage energy. and they covered that sean kingston, beautiful girl, or whatever its called. they amazed me.

No shame for any shows that I might want to go see in the future, but I am a bit embarrassed by my choice for the first show I saw. The Monkees in 86 or 87. What can I say? I was 9.
Just think of all the kids who will be embarrassed 10 years from now from seeing Hannah Montana. They're not going to remember all of the trouble their Parents went through to get them tickets and take them to the show. They'll only remember they saw an over produced television marketed exploitation show.
its not really a concert but I was completely and totally bummed when I didnt get So You Think You Can Dance tickets last year. This year I take the day off work if I have to.
Me too!!!! I'm obsessed with that show! (I used to dance ) They came to Columbus and I really wanted to go, but it was the same weekend I was moving.
Hmmm my first show was I think Anger Management tour with Eminem, D12, Papa Roach, maybe Limp Bizkit? I don't remember it totally it was so long ago, I'm not ashamed though.

Hahaha, I'm totally not.
Woaaah your love is like BAD MEDICINE! BAD MEDICINE is what I need oh oh oh shake it up...
Trust me, I'm going to have a blast. It was my 22nd birthday present from my best friend...she dropped a pretty penny on our tickets!

i'll probably check out Brand New at Lolla. never thought i'd get into something like them but i have been listening to the new album quite a bit lately. don't know any of their other stuff.
Man, I am really undoing my credibility as a mod, but a few years back I was dating this girl who was into nothing but country and pop music. So, I wanted to impress her by getting her tickets to see this band, which was bad, BTW:

i was really into them when Deja Entendu came out. i still think they're good, but i don't listen to them as much. i don't think they're anyone to be ashamed of, though.
I think my only ashamed-to-mention concert is the first American Idol tour. And only because it sucked big time. If the tickets were free, I wouldn't be ashamed at all
All others I'm quite proud about. Bon Jovi, Poison - so much fun. ummm - I know there are others that would fall into the should-be-ashamed-but-ain't category but I can't think of them now.

I saw My Chemical Romance last year I think during the black parade tour.
My friend from Japan (early 30s) loves them, and he and his wife bought four tickets. So my buddy and I tagged along.
Muse opened..and were awesome
MCR..were actually pretty good. Very theatric and the lead singer knows how to work a crowd. Songs sounded spot on.
Only weird part was all the 14-15 yr old kids in heavy mascara. Right next to us were two girls who kept rolling up their t-shirts into like a bikini top..and one of their moms kept walking over and pulling their shirts back down. I felt dirty.

^^^haha hell no you're not off the hook!!.....Ashlee Simpson really? You should be ashamed of yourself.....nah I'm just playing.....I saw Michelle Branch cause the tickets were free....and I feel justified.....
I am alittle ashamed of the fact that as long as they don't interfere with anyone of great to mild importance I will probably be stopping by for Death Cab for Cutie this year......I knew who they were but based my judgment of them by the people who listened to them....and decided they weren't my type....in 06' I scoffed in the direction of the stage they were playing at and kept walking....well my friend played this pretty acoustic song for me the other day and I said, "Oh how nice, who is that?" When she told me it was Death Cab for Cutie I hung my head in shame....I shortly discovered that I liked quite a few of their acoustic songs......and I will mor than likely be mosey-ing over there at roo this year.....
So even though I always thought of my self as super open minded here I found myself judging a band I had never heard by the emo kids that listened to them...So I should be ashamed of myself.....

my first show was Boyz II Men!!! I want to see britney... have seen her before... I just love her, you can't help but want to dance.... I am a bit embarrased to say i am excited to see metallica... I used to love that stuff my freshman year in HS so i will know a ton of songs.... ugh
I'll readily admit without shame I'm excited to see Metallica.
I've considered seeing them a couple times in the past, but passed partly because I didn't want to put up with the crowd and opening acts. Having them at Bonnaroo neutralizes both of those factors for me.
That's a good thing for me, even if they weren't exactly on my wishlist of headliners.
