Wow you sure do like big gov't intervention for a conservative.
Who ever said anything about being a conservative? People who use, apply and abide by such labels are morons.
And I'm not fired up about this SOPA nonsense, but these companies that are "blacking out" today aren't accomplishing much. Google has more money than God, and the best they can do is put a black box over the logo? Sack up, use your trillions of dollars to hire a crack team of lobbyists and be done with it.
Well I think it raises awareness, and I only call you a conservative because you have self identified that way in the past. I do think this is not a good law and people need to be aware of what their gov't is doing to them.
Nah, trashing Tebow is also like shooting fish in a barrel. It's more fun to enthusiastically defend Tebow to a group of sports elitists.
I don't know open up with that a girl you used to bang in college took his virginity, and that he is a hypocritical liar. Sure it is fish in a barrel but that can be entertaining as well.
For the record, before yesterday, only 5 senators spoke out against the SOPA bill. By the end of the day, that number had shot up to 35. They only need 41 votes to stall a bill permanently (nice how that idiotic little system works, isn't it?), and three of the bills biggest supporters pulled their support at the last minute.
I'd say that yesterday did send a message, considering multiple senators who backed the bill had their sites taken down temporarily because they couldn't handle the traffic caused by people going to their site to protest them.
It's nice to see Americans can unite in disapproval, if nothing else.
