I only started posting recently so forgive me if this has been addressed. On other boards to which I belong (non of them Roo related) I am immediately directed to my most recent post when I post a reply. It's very convenient when posting in direct response threads like the song title game. I don't know if this can be done with Probaords. Most of the other boards I belong to use VBulletin.

Not that it's possible, but it would be cool if when you clicked on a thread you've already posted in, it went to the last post you made 1st, as a direct option no matter how long ago you made the post...

Some boards allow another option for that. The view most recent post things is what I was looking for. I should have searched the site for customizing functions before posting.

Actually that doesn't seem to do it. What I want is post, click "post reply", then jump to my post at the bottom of the page when I return the thread instead of returning to the top of the page.
^Infobury's doing the same thing. But I noticed that if you type a bigger number, some posts made before mid april will show up. I think the search still isn't caught up from the outage
it would be sweet if we had a youtube embed button. we have one on another board and it's pretty sweet. it's a proboard, so i'm sure it's available...
I think that's coming in the next update. Unless there's a way for someone who knows how to manipulate the html code to put it in there, I think we have to wait for the update.
The problem is that I *think* when you embed a youtube and someone attempts to view the page at work, it logs it as if they attempted to watch the video even though the page simply loaded it..
ProBoards is actually working on their own YouTube imbed function, but they'll allow individuals to block youtubes in their profile.

this first part of this is not good - the second part is good
if a thread i create is moved i'd like to be able to delete the original, or have a mod. delete it automatically. Also i think mods should delete threads where the subject has already been covered in another thread instead of just locking it. I just like things neat and clean and organized and i think this would help.
The issue is that if someone creates a thread and there is an identical one somewhere else and we delete the original the poster might not realize exactly what happened, plus a link is usually posted to the other thread in the locked one.
Similar thing goes for a moved thread, its just a notice that the thread was moved in case someone was looking for it.
If you do want a moved thread marker deleted, just PM one of us and we'll usually be happy to oblige. (I went ahead and deleted the Hendrix one)

ahh, good point. I guess it is nice to know where exactly it is moved to. but for duplicate threads i think deleting it and pm'ing the author to notify them that it had deleted and explaining why might be better than locking. I think most of us would not mind our threads deleted. I guess it might be overworking the mods to ask them to send all those pm's. Not a big deal just my my 2 cents.
I don't know if this is possible or even worth the effort, but what if a section of the user's profile can contain their Bonnaroo pictures?
bonnaroo.com if you can handle sitejumping... or if its okay to speak of it... *checks over his shoulder and whispers* they have one... ive got a ton of pics there...

this is just too laughable. I mean, what jackass would ever be offended by having eyes rolled at them every couple of days and told that they spew poison? God DAMN lighten up people!
