Many of the press releases say "just south of metropolitan Atlanta," but the Echo Project website just says "just outside" of Atlanta on Bouckaert Farm.
Here's my next best guess: According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, "The festival is the brainchild of Nicholas Bouckaert, whose family owns North Georgia's Bouckaert Farms and the land where the Echo Project will take place." The Echo Project site says the festival will take place "on 350+ privately owned acres of Bouckaert Farm." Maybe the Bouckaerts own more than one farm?

Latest information about location www.thecitizennews.com/node/19291 About as pristine as any large tract of land in metro Atlanta, the festival will be held on a 330-acre tract of the 2,047-acre farm owned by Carl Bouckaert. The venue will be positioned on a three-mile stretch of the Chattahoochee River. Plans call for the temporary stage to back up against the Chattahoochee River and a large buffer area of steeply graded wooded areas between the festival venue area and south Fulton neighbors.
The largely undeveloped site fronts Campbellton-Fairburn Road, Cochran Mill Road, Cedar Grove Road, Browns Lake Road and the Chattahoochee River. Approved by Fulton County Community zoning Board in March and Fulton County Commission in April, the organizers were granted a 10-year permit, with Fulton County assessing compliance issues on an annual basis.
Wow, it's comforting to see the website updated with all the additions now...I'm so excited!! After 4 years of melting in the June Tennessee heat for 'Roo it is gonna be soooo nice to attend a festival in the nice cool fall air!!
I had to check inforoo to see if there was any chatter on this festival. I can't believe they are putting on a fest like this less than an hour from where I was born and raised. Definetly going home for this one! It isn't the greatest lineup ever, but the additions were good and hopefully I'll discover some cool bands I've never heard of before. One of my friends is from Fairburn and he said that they is gonna be 3 stages and it's all by the hooch. Here's the pic he sent me www.chatthills.org/news/river.jpg .... should be a good fall festival and hopefully its better than Bonnaroo!
