Kayak is a pretty darn cool way to compare, but when you find the best fare there... then try the airline direct too, because I find it sometimes ends up $5-$10 cheaper that way
so did anyone else get the email this morning? i found 2 pieces of information to be useful:
"...the band will perform prior to Les Claypool on the Sunset Stage as the opening act to the 2008 Langerado Music Festival."
(talking about the SonicBids winner. but this means we know when Les is playing roughly, just not the exact hour)
and
"The complete Langerado schedule will be announced next week. You can visit our website now for the band by day listing and get ready to plan your festival schedule!"
kind of disappointed phix is playing midnight on friday as i imagine it will conflict with sts9 or umphrey's both of which i would have to choose to see over phix i think.

well i guess that means dark star will be late night thursday. good stuff. the thursday show at allgood was incredible! i cant wait for march! is anyone else hitting the dso show in st. petersburg on the wednesday night right before langerado?

you think? i figured if you took phix off of thursday's schedule and put Les on sunset stage (which isn't the main stage i'm pretty sure) that didn't leave a lot of others capable of holding down the 'headliner' slot on the main stage on thurs so i figured that's where DSO would end up. leaving PGroove or the New Deal with options for latenight.

yep. well actually im back in ohio. but im only 2 miles from michigan. mapquest says 21 hours. but screw it. i need a fest. and i cant miss this lineup. and i hate winter. im going where the climate suits my clothes.

well you could be right. i was assuming that there would be only one stage for thursday night. but i dont know why. your probably right.
i'm guessing they'll run at least 2, possibly 3 stages on Thurs night? basing this assumption on the number of acts i count on thurs (9) and the guess that i don't think they'll start music before 7 or 8pm.
the less walking the better, but no more conflicts than necessary plz!
