Gas is my biggest worry. 16 hr drive split w/ one other person until jacksonville. then one more will be pitching in on the gas
Dude, don't worry about food. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would agree that you won't have any problem keeping yourself well fed off the shared food of those you're camping with.
As for the gas, you could always try mapping things out if you're serious about saving a few bucks...
At the end of the day, man, you shouldn't get yourself down over the cash situation. You'll be having far too good of a time to even worry about. Let the bullsh*t take a back seat for a few days.
Hey, so I'm going down from the Nashville area. Is I-75 or I-95 a better drive. I know 75 is faster, but if I'm going to be in the car that long I may as well enjoy myself.

I've gotta get atleast one tire Monday. Couple weeks ago, slid in ditch on dirt (clay) road after heavy rains. Left it overnight, next morning, pulled it out, front tire separated from rim, wtf, went in pretty gently, put on spare, steel showing thru, haven't gotten around to checking flat, hopefully just needs remount.

hi, folks! i'm reluctant to forfeit my longtime-lurker status, but i'm becoming just a tad too excited to keep it all to myself. woo-hoooo!!!!
i'm flying in thursday afternoon, so i'll miss all the pre-festie festivities. looking forward to being in your company—knowingly or otherwise—at langerado itself, though!
i've never flown to a festival before. i'm hoping i can pack everything i need! any consensus on how necessary a tarp will be? (i won't be in the WET area )

hi! i think we talked after allgood last year i think you'll need a tarp, but i saw on the map, there will be a 'general store' so if you cant pack one, im assuming you'll be able to get one at rado ;D

I would bring a tarp, if you can, a small one won't take up too much room, if not, no big deal.

I've been informed that I am eligible for parole from "guest camping" on Thursday morning. That might be a good time to drag my tent to "tent camping".
i know i just posted about this in the vampire weekend thread. wtf this was one of my top 3 sets to see. but its kinda short notice i dont know if we will even get a replacement
OK I just got caught up, I have PM'd samjaco and talked to woozie on the phone this morning already. I am serioulsy going to try to make this work. I havent heard back from sam yet, but I wont know for sure til tomorow anyway cause I gotta talk to my boss about the time off. If I can get the days off, I am definitely IN!!! (So put me on the list as hopefully!!! And you need to add next to sam and wooz's names that they ROCK!!!!!)
Oh and Mulcherries, If I make, it will be in the same boat as you, on the cheap!!!
