Yeah -- I really don't want to be in those swamps if the rain starts to come full force!
I'm sure Chef, Bot, or some of the other relative locals would know much better, but I'd think mosquitos, potential puddling in the camping area, and whatever else comes along with a lot of rain in that type of environment could be a little rough.

rain in florida isnt a horrible thing. if it rains it rains for 20 minutes and then stops..plus its still a little out, it could totally change ;D im tryin to decide if i should find room in my pack for my rain boots.. what do you guys think?

im bringing crocs, flipflops (for walking around the campsite) and maybe the rainboots. i have the weird issue of what to wear on the plane tho..i dont want to wear the crocs and its too cold for flipflops.

This really sucks about the Vampire Weekend cancelling. I hope that they can pull in a decent replacement, but it is highly unlikely this late in the game.
Thats two potentially great sets that have been pulled from us and neither is Langerado's fault, but the band's fault. I guess you can't blame Vampire for wanting for the publicity but it sucks that we are getting screwed for it. I still think that Randolph thing is weak since it seems like a trip to the studio could always be pushed back due to your previous commitments. Well, what can you do.
Still super excited for next week. Just a little pissed about the Vampire weekend situation.

Yea man i feel ya. I actaully had never seen RRFB or Vampire Weekend and i was equally pumped about both. I was so happy when i saw RR had a latenight i knew he would put on a great set. But what can you do things like this happen sometimes. I REALLY HOPE that rado can make up for something with a dank replacement but i doubt it.
I would be really happy if they had a late MMJ add. think about it....it could work. they would put MMJ in the former RRFB late night slot. then move the lee boys to vampire weekends slot and everybody can live happily ever after

Wait... so I know y'all noticed this already, I'm often a step behind ... but I was just going over the schedule really closely, and, the Lee Boys went from what is arguably the WORST slot on the schedule, 11:15-12PM on sun morn, SPRING AHEAD sun morn noless... so everyone is going to be internally confused about time already, let alone anyone getting there at what is effectively 10:15AM,... they were moved from THAT slot, and given the arguably BEST slot on the schedule... Saturday endless latenight... the LAST real latenight party of the weekend ???
I don't know... is there some sort of blackmail going on? What other answer is there ???
