Yeah, haven't felt this bad since having to miss Echo Project. Oh well, can't do 'em all anyway. Back to trying for Wanee, great line-up and only 160 miles or so, versus over 500 to Lango.

Seperately, regarding Verizon, this is kinda' positive... email response I got...
There is an additonal verizon tower being installed for the festival.

Thanks Lord, Also, in case anyone missed my earlier post about Net10 and are still worried about coverage/don't have Verizon, check out net10.com, phones are available at many W-marts and K-marts cheap and could be a good choice for a 2nd phone just to have for whenever you find yourself traveling without coverage on your regular phone.

Yeah, Vampire Weekend and Robert Randolph pulled out - And Balkan Beat Box won't be able to make it either due to customs. I don't mean to sound ungrateful (and I'm still super excited) but those 3 bands did have a lot to do with my purchasing a ticket. I really hope the Langerado staff can swing something amazing at the last minute to make it up to us

STRUM. not trying to alarm you. my best friend just came home from cali 2 weeks ago. she has had some congested sickness, with a horrible cough. neither of us ever see doctors. tonight, we take her to the hospital to get an antibiotic, b/c her side is aching so badly she can barely move, i think she has a lung infection. see someone before you go!!! don't get stuck in the swamp with no help.... and feelin pooey.

i kinda feel bad for those who run 'rado.... bands are seeming to think canceling is okay. we'll entertain eachother, no worries.

Not sure who's network Net10 runs on, but seeing as how they use GSM phones, I'm gonna guess they're piggybacking on Verizon as well. If that's the case, then crappy service for Verizon probably means crappy service for Net10.
Virgin Mobile, however, uses the Sprint CDMA network. Not having as many customers as Verizon does have its benefits... like less network congestion at festivals. Phones with text messaging go for as little as $20 (the Marbl).
