Since I am really close and the lineup is kinda underwhelming at this pint, I think I may opt for a 1 day pass for Friday and maybe pick up a Sunday pass later on . Anyways...here is the stage setup thus far:
Friday:
Blue Commet Radiohead Underworld Spearhead The New Pornographers The Go! Team
Bullet Girl Talk CSS Forro in the Dark Juana Molina Little Brother
Queen of the Valley Andrew Bird Mates of State Nicole Atkins
Saturday
Blue Commet Radiohead Kings of Leon Animal Collective Metric Chromeo The Black Angels
Bullet The Roots The Virgins The Felice Brothers Alberta Cross
Queen of the Valley Sia K'Naan Duffy Your Vegas
Sunday
Blue Commet Jack Johnson Cat Power Rodrigo y Gabriela Amadou & Mariam
Bullet Youssou N'Dour Black Kids Jason Isbell
Queen of the Valley Grace Potter and the Nocturnals Rogue Wave Neil Halstead
i was thinking about doing day passes as well. at first i planning on just friday and saturday to see radiohead but of course rod gab is on sunday so i might have to rework that plan.
definitely down for this one. going to get day passes tho for only the first two days, as the 258 for three days is damn pricey. plus, radiohead headlining those two nights is the treat to behold anyways. also looking forward to some of the other acts there. no biggie on the no camping for me tho, since my roomie from college lives in manhattan. the ferry service from manhattan to NJ is clutch too.

Still reading everything on the site.... are there more additions to come? That seems like a pretty hefty price for no camping, no parking, and only 1 big name act (1.5 if you count Jack "resistance-is-futile" Johnson). Hell, it'd be nice if they at least threw in a $20 Metrocard for your troubles.

You can park at the Port Imperial Park & Rides in Weehawken and take the light rail over. That's not so bad. A little inconvenient, but certainly cheaper (and easier) than trying to get a carpool pass.
i personally wouldnt pay to go all 3 days. But $89 for friday night is sooooo worth it for me. I never thought id see mates of state in a festival setting. if anyone is going on friday, listen to "Team Boo" by mates of state. You may fall in love.

so youre saying jack johnson is a borg?
it all makes sense now...
I just heard Jack Johnson will be starting up a new festival - Jackapalooza - in Johnsonville, TN. Here's the initial lineup:
Jack Johnson (in an exclusive 3 night headliner performance!) Jack Johnson Jack Johnson Jack Johnson Jack Johnson Jack Johnson Jack Johnson Jack Johnson Jack Johnson Jack Johnson Jack Johnson
With a special guest appearance by... Jack Johnson!

Mates of State played Coachella a couple years ago.
This looks sweet. I really want to go, but $258 for tickets, plus finding a place to stay, plus figuring out how to go back and forth. I'm getting stressed just thinking about it. I wish there was camping.

yeah before i listened to them lol.
itll be pretty easy for me since ill just be going one day and taking a train down and then hopping on the ferry. But going all 3 days would be hard for me unless i got a hotel, which im not gonna do.

it is expensive but i guess it would be SO fucking difficult for a normal person to get a decent price for a radiohead show in nyc at the garden for example that this doesnt seem to be that bad of a deal to me

I'm assuming, since this is probably setup alot like Coachella, that Radiohead and Girl Talk, and Radiohead and The Roots will be playing at the same time?

I really hope you're joking. you're gonna make me pick between radiohead and the roots and girl talk?!?!?!? that's just plain evil

Unfortunately not. I will be seeing Radiohead regardless, just kinda bummed that I will miss Girl Talk again. Seems everytime he's at a festival, there is always something better to see. As far as the Roots, I have seen them plenty of times in the past, and I live in Philly.
Other than that though, I have no complaints about the Friday and saturday line-ups.

i wouldn't go to all 3 days of this, but friday looks interesting enough to me that i'll probably get a single day ticket. and its amazingly convenient because i have a friend who lives in jersey city probably about 10 blocks from that park, so crashing space and transportation are no concern
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!
im definately doing single day passes. whether just friday or friday and saturday. i really wanted to see rod gab again too but i may have to pass on sunday.

Presale tomorrow: From 12 noon until 5:00PM (EST) on Wednesday, February 27, you will be able to use your unique password to purchase three-day passes only to the festival, and three-day carpool passes. Your unique password for this presale is 997SMH 2 days of Radiohead would be cool, but theres not enough filler. Friday is all I would need.
