hey becca and meg! ive been around checking news just havent posted much. i moved out of the boonies and have a new job that dosent trap me at a computer with nothing to do 16 hours a day. plus oat put so much hard work into my karma that i figured id keep my mouth shut and keep it for a while ;D both of you should come to the ledges this year!!!!!
ya ive heard good things about the cove. i almost went last year for hookah but i just cant bring myself to miss the first ledges get together. plus with waterband playing i gotta be there. if john welton is at the ledges you bet your ass my friends and i will be stalking him around the place waiting for him to jam at a campfire. but ill be at langerado and hope to catch up with all you fine people. im still pissed i missed most of you at echo.
I'm so excited for some more Ledges action this year! Grateful was my first Ledges experience and it was killer. Boombox was great, as were Darkstar and pretty much everything about it. I saw nlpq.com the other day and the whole no grateful july 4th thing has me very intrigued. Can't wait.
I think its do-able man... i dont see why not, there will be plenty of time after allgood to recoup funds and vacation time, and then its spaced before Echo a bit
I really wanted to hit Grateful fest last year but couldn't make it happen. I plan to try again this year. I've been to the Ledges once, for a Hookah show. Great venue. Ground campfires are key.
well they put out partial lineups for some fests so i updated the first post. im super excited to see the bridge is at blossom blast! and the boombox weekend looks awesome! plus they added the burning river band family jam on my birthday weekend. and with 2 john welton bands too! cant ever get enough john welton (im going to see him tonight and cant friggin wait!) looks like i might even hit the floyd thing this year on roo weekend. i cant wait to see whats in store for the 4th of july.
i hope you guys can swing the gratefulfest thing. you will not be disappointed! the ledges is seriously a magical place.

heres some videos shot at the ledges. i guess it was made for the park but its basically two dudes with a camera. they are weird videos. and it was a small fest. any fest with that type of weather at the ledges draws a bigger crowd now days. but they have some useful shots of the camping areas and the quarry.

well i was seriously considering not hitting allgood. i really wouldnt want to miss waterfest. and with my son being here it would have been easier to just take him to the ledges. but grandma will just have a visitor 2 weekends in a row now because im not taking him to all good.
and ya we will have to find somewhere to meet up at. as a rule my group and i usually like to hit the gate as soon as it opens, so the closer we can get to that time is better for me.
