We are going Sat nite...they are playing both Fri and Sat nite....and of course Mojo will be there BOTH nights - LOL! It's not a really late concert....doors @ 8 , concert supposed to start @ 9 ....but still will be an early night for NOLA! ;D It's at the Contemporary Arts center....

I can TOTALLY empathize with that! I'm sure they will still have tix on Sat....it's GA....so just see how you feel...we can talk about it over drinks this weekend...still on for Friday at Liuzza's right? And I'll call as soon as we get to the festie....have a safe trip!! And have TONS of FUN on Thur for those of us who can't get there till Friday!! ;D

I survived! Caught up with Bamabelle and Cajun-n-Saudi on Friday for the Lost Bayou Ramblers show at dba...great time! I managed to at least meet Mojoworks on Saturday, when I was nursing a serious hangover. Save for the mud at the Fairgrounds, it was a fantastic JazzFest, with the Neville Brothers closing out Acura under a blue, sunny sky. Raconteurs were GREAT.
Ditto on the Raconteurs Sass! And Friday nite was sooo much fun! Hate that we missed you the rest of the weekend...but we did catch up with Mojo on Sat afternoon....everything was great except I got a MAJOR sunburn Sat... ....ouch! Oh well, when it turns I'll have a great base for 'Roo!
I got sunburn yesterday...and I RARELY burn. I wasn't paying attention, obviously. I caught Lost Bayou Ramblers again on Sunday morning at the Fais Do Do stage...the bass player actually props his bass sideways and STANDS ON IT while he plays. Those guys are fantastic.

They were really good! And ick! The mud! Roo isn't the only place with Bouncy Mud! I ruined my tennis shoes I'm afraid...good thing they were old anyways.....Sat was AWFUL! I can't imagine what Friday was like....
LOL. You needed a pair of Cajun Reeboks! I had fun on Friday, dancing in the rain to Stevie Wonder. Saturday was another matter, though...hungover and wearing flip flops in that mud (my friend loaned me the boots whenever I had to use the portapotty).
