I really love the line-up, and thinking of maybe going to this festival as well as Roo. I do have some questions. No one here probably knows the answers, but what do you think?
1) Do you think there will be late night shows - if not what time would the music end at? 2) Any chance of longer set lists, or do you think they will have average festival setlist times? 3) The website says VIP gets special viewing areas? Does this mean I'll have no chance to get close to a band I wanna see, or would it be like Bonnaroo and not be right in front of the stage?
Also, I love Mars Volta. Does it look like they will be added? I'm just confused with them being on the first page, but not actually on the festivals' website.
It looks like an awesome time, and it's less than half the distance for me compared to Bonnaroo - I still can't miss Bonnaroo though!

1) with this line up it would be a sin to not have late nights, and you reallt cant have a high profile fest these days with out them 2) set times will most likely vary in length with sets prob. being longer as the day goes on peaking at the headline spots, maybe a few long late nights hopefully 3) by special viewing i assume it mean bleachers ala what/which stage and special beer tents, should not interfere with the peons getting primo front stage spots
i have no idea exactly how it will go down but thats how i see it
i am so jacked for this fest i cant stop salivating this is an excellent option for those looking for a little face melting, sure these bands have been to roo beofre, but if it aint broke dont fix it. This lineup looks to diapoint no one

Thanks panic2012, I hope you're right. Becides last year I have never been to a multi-day festival (been to many one dayers), so really I have no clue what to expect when it comes to these festivals, besides Bonnaroo. Longer sets and late nights are key for me..I may just take the chance and hope for the best. If me like I go back; if me no like well...
Ouch. So I was on myspace and thought it was appropriate (and a little funny) to officially break up with Bonnaroo. Just felt like I needed a little closer, you know, before I can move on with another man...I mean festival. People yelled at me. Made me feel bad
edit: if havent read every page on this thread: I'm going to Rothbury this year and skipping Roo

i would expect that from those Myspace Roo kids, they can be a little hostile. have fun at Rothbury, make sure to give us a detailed lowdown when you get back!

"its not you, its me." "lol. But i am trying to read thru this entire thread for info, and its just a bunch of opinions. (another reason i love inforoo Well, if Broo can add primus, then it wins my heart.
this is sick. i was really thinking on going to allgood. now i may be taking off for two weeks in july to do both! this lineup is just too quacking good! i gotta go! same distance to roth and roo for me. so here is how it will go down for me this summer;
june 11th - 16th - BONNAROO june 30th - RUSH @ riverbend july 2nd - 7th - ROTHBURY july 8th - TOM PETTY @ riverbend july 10th - 14th ALLGOOD
i factored in travel dates for the fests. so after roo, i'll basically be on the go from june 30th - july 14th. ugh! is this good or bad?? i'm going to go with TOTALLY KILLER!!!
jizzo its awesome. how the quack can you take off that much work??
the pros of almost owning your own company! i figured since i'm going back to school this fall, i'm going to have a great summer before i have to get serious. call it....
