Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I am happy with the schedule for the most part. My only conflicts are Swell Season vs. G.Love and Black Keys vs. Iron and Wine. I have a lot less conflicts than roo, thats for sure.
those conflicts are ridiculous... sorry, but Fuck ACL for putting plant/krauss vs. beck... that is pure retardation. Even worse than The Mars Volta vs. Manu Chao...
anyways, whatever you do don't miss Joe Bonamassa on Day 3 at 4pm. If you like straight guitar blues rock shredding. He's incredibly fun to watch! here's a video that is pretty accessible...
I've got conflicts, but they are all pretty easy to choose my top pick. I do have a lot of back to back shows on different stages, so my chances of getting up front for anything are going to be limited.

I have been reading comments about those conflicts on the ACL board and I am deffietly in the minority with those two, but then again I have see Beck 3 times and TMV once saw Omar back in his At the Drive in Days. I can see why ppl may be upset. the other one that seems to be bugging ppl is the Gnarls Barkley vs Racounters . All Major festivals have conflicts, you just have to roll with it.
For the ACL vets: I noticed that there are 2 known acts that play at the same time more less. How crowded do these stages become during the day? How spaced out are the stages?
They're not really THAT far apart, but the heat of the day makes them seem so. You can easily get from one end of the area to another in 10 minutes or less if you walk quickly.
Dirty, did you ever get a response to your request for Dale's Pale Ale? I think I can get it here...let me know.

the reason ACL always has to put big acts up against each other, is that they have noise restrictions enforced by the city. they have to stop playing at like, 10 or 10:30 at night. means you have to squish a lot of people in a short amount of time.

In case it hasn't been mentioned... bring a bathing suit There is a wonderful hippie stocked spring fed stream like 200 yards from the Barton Springs festival entrance... its a beautiful place to take a relaxing break from the heat and just chill out

looking at my time off I just dont think I can swing it. I'm down to only a couple of days off and I'll probably need to use them for Christmas. Hate to miss all the fun guys. poop.
Well . . . I'm going to be there on Sunday! Just bought my ticket today. Going by myself to this one though. Can't wait to see Foo Fighters, Tegan & Sara, Raconteurs, Silversun Pickups, Flyleaf, and a few others. Awesome lineup with all the bands I wanted to see basically on one day. (Plus I love Austin -- I went to law school at UT from 1993-1996.) So who else is going?
hippie, i echo the sentiment and you must take all these noobs to magnolia! this will be my fourth ACL, and we always hit up magnolia at least one night every time. their chocolate cake is amazing and they have the best coffee too.
as far as the schedule goes, its pretty crazy they already have it up. my biggest conflict was krauss/plant and beck. luckily i was able to catch all of their set at bonnaroo, so beck here i come. my big hope is that they end up adding ghostland somewhere in there, but i can't ever recall ACL being huge about late additions.
though i am fairly new to the board, would love to meet up with everyone and share some ACL love and corn.
What up everybody. This will be my first ACL (traveling from Nashville) and actually my first trip to Austin. I've been to Roo the past 3 years, but I def understand that this will be a very different environment from the whole camping/farm scene. I was just wondering how easy it is to score "treats" and such around the area. Since I will be flying it isn't exactly an option for me to bring any of my own fun, so I was hoping some of you veterans could give me a lil insight into that whole thing. Can't wait to take this trip, and hope to see some of you guys/girls there.

I'm down for hanging out whenever. I live here, so its not too tough
I don't have the biggest place in the world, but if people wanted to come to my apartment, we could meet up there, and then carpool to kerbey lane or magnolia for some good eats.
Clairity will be staying with me for the weekend, with a possible 2nd coming in on Sunday. But if you need a place to crash, I have a big comfy air mattress, so feel free to use it!
