There's no dates or venues yet, but Radiohead has confirmed the cities for its North American summer tour. The first leg will come prior to the band's summer European jaunt, which begins June 6 in Dublin, while the second leg will start after the European dates end July 8 in Berlin.
Radiohead last toured in 2006, when it debuted a host of the material that eventually appeared on "In Rainbows."
As reported earlier, that album overtook the No. 1 spot this week on The Billboard 200, after debuting prematurely last week due to street date violations.
Here are the cities for the Radiohead tour:
Atlanta Boston Charlotte, N.C. Chicago Cleveland Dallas Houston Indianapolis Los Angeles Miami Montreal New York Philadelphia San Diego San Francisco Santa Barbara, Calif. Seattle St. Louis Tampa, Fla. Toronto Vancouver Washington, D.C.
dallas will probably be indoors and houston will probably be the woodlands which is outdoors so....you decide, imma try to go to both if tickets arent ridiculous
I still think the Vineland fest might be a possibility(that being the Philly date?). Maybe they go to the west cost before their Euro tour, and then the east coast and midwest post Euro tour. Either way, I'm taking Thom's advice and following them around Depending on how the dates work out, maybe Boston, NY, Philly and DC. I've been wanting to do this for quite some time. Who's comin with me? Who's comin man? Who's comin with me man?

BTTT The thread got buried. Radiohead fans need to know.
Taking a break from the linup discussions - from atease:
EMI are set to release a Radiohead Greatest Hits album to coincide with Radiohead’s upcoming tour. Radiohead’s former label seem determined to make some money from the band’s current activities.
When Radiohead announced the release of their ‘In Rainbows’ Discbox in December, EMI quickly followed with the release of the 7 albums (6 studio, 1 live) as a box set which included the albums as digipacks, download and USB-stick.
Now the tour is coming up (North American dates are expected to be announced next week), EMI have got another release up their sleeves; the long feared Greatest Hits album. Ed O’Brien told Strombo [laughing]: “They’re planning to do a Greatest Hits for April, May to coincide with our tour. That’s an interesting one. We won’t be doing any promotion for that, obviously.”
In an interview with Analogue, Phil Selway quickly commented on a Greatest Hits album as well: “It’s well within their rights to do it. [sigh]. So we’ll have to see.”
thats a tough one - id probaby buy a greatest hits. even though i know its not really helping the band any ( i suppose it does, but meh...you know what i mean).

If true, it looks like I'll have two tickets to buy this Saturday.
I already assumed I would probably go to at least one east-coast date. I like the Nissan Pavillion. Not that it's any different than most other amphitheatres, but there I can tour the Manassas battlefield during the day. I can travel, be a nerd, and see Radiohead!
can't confirm it... read on another message board. reportedly, the news came through a radio announcement this morning. if i see something concrete, i'll post a link.
